Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I am a spirit-filled, pentecostal believer with a prophetic anointing. My belief system defines who I am - a child of God - and it's at the core of my life. Without my faith, I would have no life.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Psalm 139:14 'for I am fearfully and wonderfully made'
Psalm 91
Psalm 23
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
God's Word is clear that Christians must be equally yoked and God must be at the center of any relationship I am in to accomplish this.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Woodbury, CT. I've traveled up and down the Eastern seaboard, Canada, California, Arkansas, DC and Guatemala. My favorite trip was to Guatemala on a short term missions trip to a girl's orphanage.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love to worship and we have an incredibly gifted and anointed worship team. I enjoy fellowshipping with my church family and have been blessed with many wonderful friendships as a result. We do many things together including shopping, going out to eat, watching movies together, cooking together, swimming, picnics, going to Christian coffehouses, taking trips together and being there for each other in times of need.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Prayer is like breathing to me so I am always talking to God no matter where I am. I wake up in the middle of the night and automatically begin praying. I pray while getting ready and driving to work and during my work day. After work I make dinner, watch the news/TV, check email and read. Some nights I have meetings at church, visit friends, shop, clean, do laundry or talk on the phone.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My most personal goal is to continue losing weight on my journey to better health. We all have baggage of some sort from our past and I spent quite a while working on that until I achieved great healing by God's grace. Now I'm working on the physical side of me.
Spiritually I want to continue to follow hard after God and to always remain in His will. It is an ongoing journey that will never end as I seek to draw nearer to Him each day.
