I've been working too much for the last 5 years. It's time to find some fun in life again. I have many interests but a special passion for the outdoors, nature, water, animals and the sports that go with those things. Family is a huge part of my life. I have a great sense of humor--have to with my family. God is very important in my life and would prefer to meet someone who loves Him also--not perfect--but growing. He has been my rock and anchor through good times and bad. Open to new things. Let's talk!
My Ideal Person
I am looking for someone with a great sense of humor that is kind and sincere. I would love to meet someone that has a sweet relationship with the Lord and knows that the Christian walk is just that, a life-long journey of learning and growth. I would like a friend and someone to share lifes experiences and the burdens of life so that life is a bit lighter for us both.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is very important to me. I am not where I want to be spiritually, but that is what growth is all about. God has seen me through some very tough times and I cannot imagine life without Him.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Basically all of Philippians 4, but my favorites are Phil.4:5-9; 12-14: 5)Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. 6) Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7) And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8) Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. 9)The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you....12) I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. 13) I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. 14) Nevertheless, you have done well to share with me in my affliction.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I couldn't have a relationship with someone who didn't also believe in the Lord. Our beliefs don't have to be identical, but I would prefer they are similar. I don't think a marriage can survive without the Lord but if Biblical principles are followed by both parties any relationship can make it through anything.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Maine...my favorite place on earth
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I want to have increased faith and a relationship where I can abide in Him. I want to serve Him in some capacity and help others using the things I have learned and experienced in my own life. I want to trust Him fully and learn not to worry about tomorrow. Besides that, I am still trying to figure out "what I want to be when I grow up." Life is full of surprises.
