I am a warm, loving & absolutely faithful woman with a great sense of humor. I'm not into playing games, so if you are, please don't consider me. I am happy with my life, but I miss male companionship & my desire is to meet that special (to me) man - best friend, soul mate, - and then we'll take it from there! I am a non-smoker & only have a couple of drinks a year - am perfectly willing not to drink at all if you prefer it. I enjoy family & friends. I really appreciate God's creation - all of it! I love children - animals, too, especially dogs. I have had some wonderful opportunities to travel but I also enjoy the simple things in life. I was a property & casualty insurance agent for 22 years & currently work for a Christian-based company doing data research and calling donors to pray with them. Even though I don't have a college education, most people think I am a college graduate as I am fairly articulate.(or so they say!) I love all kinds of music and consider music one of God's greatest gifts to us. I like Christian worship music, Third Day, blues, jazz, calypso, reggae, Hispanic music, Josh Groban, Andrea Boccelli, soft rock, Fifties, Sixties, a little country, Norah Jones & the list goes on! My Ideal Person:
I am looking for someone who is honest, responsible, hardworking, kind, gentle, romantic, and faithful; not given to anger or a critical nature - a one-woman man; someone who can see humor in the everyday things in life and can laugh at himself. Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I am a born-again Christian, saved in 1986. My relationship with Christ has been a solid rock in my life. Jesus is my savior, my deliverer, my fortress, my strong tower, my strength and my song, my healer, my hope. He hides me in the cleft of a rock. He is the author and finisher of my faith. Truly - my all in all. I really don't know where I would be today if Jesus hadn't come into my life.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
There are so many! The Scriptures are so rich! But I guess one favorite is Esphesians 3:14-21 For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
My faith is central in my life. Therefore, it is extremely important to me to date people of like faith, perhaps men who are more spiritually mature than I am who understand what it is to be a Christian husband, spiritual head of the household, the purpose of each of our roles,who love the Lord with their heart, soul, mind and strength. II Corinthians 6:14-16 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in the Southern Tier of New York State in the small city of Jamestown. I lived there until 1997 at which time I moved to NC and then here to Ohio in 2001. Jamestown was a wonderful town in which to grow up - surrounded by smaller villages, farm land, Allegheny Mountains, and rivers. I have travelled to several Caribbean Islands, about 2/3 of the US (not the west coast), Canada, Mexico, Germany and the Czech Republic. I loved Germany and would love an opportunity to go back and also visit other European countries. I would also like to visit Sweden as it is a large part of my heritage.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I attend a small home group on Wednesday evenings called a "life group". We spend time worshipping (accompanied by piano, guitar & other various instruments), then a time of study, prayer and fellowship following. The people who attend and host this life group are very dear to me - and they have ministered to me, also in my hour of need. I love church fellowships of all kinds. Outside of church, I like to occasionally go to the movies, take a drive in the country, go out to eat, see a concert, spend the day at the lake, go to a play, love to go away for the weekend - just about anywhere! Also love to stay home, cook a good meal, followed by an evening in front of the fireplace with good music - perhaps romantic music and slow dancing.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I get up at 5:30 AM weekdays to get ready for work. (I don't like to rush in the morning, so I get up early to avoid that!) I leave for work about 7:15 AM and arrive at work about 7:50 AM. I'm an administrative assistant at a marketing/communications/strategizing agency. It is a small but very busy agency. Since it is small, I wear "lots of hats" and do whatever is needed at the moment. I also do dictation and answer the phones for 2 attorneys in the building. I am off work at 5:00 at which time I either go visit friends, go to life group, have dinner with my sister - or go home. At home, I typically have things on which to catch up (i.e. laundry, bills to pay, a little cleaning, etc.) I might watch a little television, read or catch up on my e-mail and then go to bed sometime between 10 and 11.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My goal is to always be growing in Christ, allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal Christ who is my very life. And by this process, becoming more like Christ himself.
