I am a born-again growing Christian. My best friend would say that I have a strong personality which enables me to do what I do for a living. Being a social worker is hard work--it involves putting yourself in some dangerous situations to better the life of a child. If I don't know people I tend to be shy. I love to travel to the beach and mountains which are both 2 hours from where I live. I am content with my life because I can honestly say that at this time I am exactly in God's will for me. That is an awesome feeling! In my spare time I spend time with my niece and nephews, travel and volunteer at a Christian ministry that goes out on the streets and ministers to prostitues in Jesus' name.
My Ideal Person:
A person who is actively seeking to be in God's will. Someone taller than I am who is conservative politically (democrats need not respond). A man who stands up for what he believes in and has biblical convications.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I will describe my relationship. Anyone can have faith, but a true believer has a relationship. I grew up in a Christian home and attended a Bible believing church my entire life. I did not personally accept Jesus Christ into my life as my Saviour until I was 17. I went to a youth rally and was confronted with the fact that I was a sinner in need of a Saviour. That night I admitted that I needed what He was offering and that started my relationship with my Heavenly Father. My relationship is VITAL to me--it defines who I am.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
A verse I was meditating on this morning:
Psalm 17:15, "As for me, I will behold Thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with Thy likeness."
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Because Christ is the most important relationship that I will ever be in for life. Therefore I have to be with someone who shares this love relationship.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in NC. I have been all over the South, up to some of New England, went to Minnesota last summer and traveled to California and Mexico in my younger days. I am content to sit for 2 weeks at Jekyll Island in Georgia. I like the familiar and don't need the extravagance.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
In church I am involved in the nursery and teaching a women's Bible study. I also volunteer for a Christian ministry to go out on the streets and reach the prostitute with the love of Jesus.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I wake up, I go to work, I get off work. What happens in between changes day by day.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Spiritual goals: "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight, O LORD, my strength and my redeemer" (Ps 19:14).
