Most of my friends would say that I am reliable, caring, compassionate, and easy to get along with. I enjoy spending time with people. When I am with my friends or by myself, I enjoy hiking, bike riding, swimming, walking, skiing, snowshoeing, and shopping. Being a warmer-weather person, I like to be outdoors. When I have to be indoors, I like to cook, read, watch TV, view movies, or shop. Sometimes I have bowled, but most of the times they end up in the gutter.
My career is important to me because I enjoy it, it keeps me busy, and it pays the bills. Currently, I am a Literacy Resource Teacher and work with grades K-3rd. To add more endorsements to my teaching license, I am working on my MA in literacy. I have three more classes left and should be finished this summer.
God is the center of my life. I know that he has a plan for me, eventhough, I sometimes don't understand it. I believe that the Bible is the infallible word of God, and I do my best to live by it.
There are several interesting things about me. One is that I have traveled throughout the world. During the summer of '85, I served on a Teen Missions team and went to Austria and Yugoslavia. It was neat to ride a train throughout Europe. I have also taught English in South Korea.
