Well I've lived in Alaska 14 years now. I love it here. I love the outdoors and all kinds of fun things outside. I love to camp, fish, hike, bike in the summer. In the winter I enjoy cross country skiing and snowshoeing. I also enjoy reading and working on needlwork. I like to hang out with friends or my dog. I enjoy going to movies or snuggling at home in front of the TV on occasion. I enjoy getting out and having fun bowling or playing pool with friends. I believe that honesty, trust and communication are essentials in all relationships. I am an open minded per and I'm not afraid to speak my mind. I look inside a per and find the real beauty of that per. I like to laugh and have fun. But I'm a hardworking and responsible per too.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I was raiased Presbyterian. I'm having a difficult time finding a church I like and feel at home in. I was away from the church for many years while I was married. I think my life has suffered for not being a part of a church so I'm going back to what I know and looking for a church that fits me.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
John 3:16 is one of my favorites. The Book of Matthew is also good. It gives us Jesus.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
It gives me peach of mind that He is out there looking after me. He helps me through any challenges I encounter. I know He doesn't give me more than I can handle at any one time.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Oregon. I've traveled all over Alaska with my job. I've also traveled all over the East and the West coasts. Some of my favorite cities are Washington D.C., New York and San Francisco. I adore Lancaster Country, PA. I love the Amish and the quilts I find there.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love the Christmas season at Church and decorating it. I enjoyed helping with the Children and also when I was in a youth group as well. I enjoy doing any kind of outdoor activities with my friends or my dog. I love all kinds of live music.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Just a typical day for work is 8 hours. I have plenty of things in my after work hours that I enjoy doing. I enjoy volunteering and giving back to my community. I hang out with firends or my dog. Some form of outdoor activity is always great. I might go work out at the gym.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
To become closer to God and rebuild my life and become one with a church and it's members. I would like to find a special person to share my life with and maybe have a family together.
