I am not perfect and do not pretend to be. I enjoy being with my children, gardening, my houseplants, camping, playing board games, going out for coffe and my cat. I have not gone to church regularly for 2-3 years. I have not worked since January 2007. My background is Socialwork and Nursing.
I have 3 grown children. My youngest will celebrate her first anniversary 9/29/07, She is a Chiropractic Assistant in Denver. My youngest son works for the Federal Govt. and has been transfered to St Croix. My oldest son is a long haul truck driver who started driving all the lower 48 states then got a dedicated run training students and is now doing all the lower 48 again.
I currently belong to the local VFW Aux., and NAMI, At one time I was a Red Cross volunteer for over 30 years, the last being a disaster volunteer. Hurricane Katrina took a lot out of me. I also have been an office of the womens group at various churches that I have belonged to.
I like eating fruit and yogurt and do not like aspargus. I drink diet pop, water and milk and very little coffee. I do not smoke and have an occasional wine (very occasional)
I grew up on a farm, my husband and I grain farmed, then I and the children moved to Sioux Falls, then Custer, SD where they all graduated from High School. When the Governor closed the facility I was employed at I moved back to Brookings.
