My Ideal Person:
I am looking for a Christian teddy bear who is honest, intelligent, funny, musical, and a good communicator. You don't have to have a perfect body if you love the Lord and are open to where He leads you. I have no problems relating to grown children and grandchildren but would prefer not to have new children of my own.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I would not be who I am without Jesus in my life. He is my reason for living. I trust Him with all of my decisions and rely on Him to give me guidance when I have not a clue what I'm doing or where I am.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
There are so many I would run out of room. But the two that stand out most are Romans 8:38-39 and Psalm 20:5, "May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed." That is just BEAUTIFUL!

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
It is crucial to start any relationship on the same footing. And if you don't come into the relationship from the same side of life, you will never be in unity. Trust me, I know about this one first-hand. If you are both committed to Christ, you probably eliminate a good 85% of all obstacles before they even come up, just because you are both well grounded.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Texas and I can still speak like it (LOL) but I don't choose to. I prefer to have no accent or as close to it as I can get, owing to my vocation. I have been to probably half of the lower 48 states and visited the Holy Land while in high school. I have always wanted to go to Bermuda because I've heard the sand and water are gorgeous and the people speak with British accents (weak in the knees over that one). And I would also like to visit the British Isles because of their rich history ... and did I mention the accents? LOL

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I thoroughly enjoy singing, whether in church choir or outside church. Playing the piano, laughing, fill-in puzzles, anything that makes me think is of great interest to me.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I get up when I'm "good and ready" because I am self-employed but I'm usually "good and ready" around 6:00 am just because I love mornings. I walk on the treadmill for a full hour, eat breakfast, clean up, and work online all day. I stop when I reach a daily semi-colon and either read, watch a movie, go out with friends, or whatever grabs me. I'm in bed by 11 or 11:30.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Spiritual goals: to stay out of pits, whether emotional, psychological, mental, etc., to leave all my business and personal decisions to God, and to be an encourager whenever I am called on. My personal goals are to buy a house by the end of 2009, be making $10K a month from my business by March of 2009, and give at least 15% of it back to God's work, wherever that might be.
