Update #2: November 21, 2009...Well, over 2 years and still an adventure...
Time for an update..August 11, 2008...Wow, almost a year now since this adventure started...and I can say it has been an adventure...I have met some really nice people, some I truly believe will always be my friends...some were jerks and not worth the time...some were scammers, we all have met them...sad...and then there was the one I fell in love with, shared some wonderful times with, getting to know him, laughing and crying with him...sharing my life for a little while...but got my heart broken...but I guess that is what this is all about...this search we are on...we take the chance because we want to know if that spark could become a flame, could he be the one, could that per be my other half that I have searched so desperately for...without taking the chance we never know...thank you for the chance Steve...
This last year has been one of great trial, but also one of great growth...the basics have not changed, I am still the same per only better for my experiences...my walk with the Lord is deeper and richer...I have learned to love NOW, because they may not be there tomorrow...give all I can today because I may not be here tomorrow...touch those I can that want what I have to give..those who dont, walk away and let them go...we are all wonderfully and fearfully made by God for a plan and a purpose...I want to fulfil my purpose with as few mistakes as possible and have the time of my life doing it...

In the beginning..September 2007...I love the Lord. I love life & I love to laugh. I am comfortable dressing up and dining at a nice restaurant or roasting marshmallows by a camp fire. I am romantic, caring and giving. I have spent time alone finding out who I really am and what I really want out of life and a relationship. I understand what God intended for marriage to be and am looking for a man who does also. I love s, (but dont have any) dogs, (have 1), hugs, kisses, long talks, silent moments, sunrises, sunsets, home, family, new adventures, romance and laughter, just to name a few. I am most thankful for my salvation & the opportunity to serve God. Hope to find someone who is also.
One rule the I try to live by in my life is this: I may have to grow old, but I will not grow up....Lord let me approach today as a ...let me enjoy the wonder and excitement that You have for me to enjoy as a enjoys each and every moment of discovering this world..allow me to have that simple like faith in You...I will have to face things in life with maturity and adult reaing, but when the seriousness is over, and the opportunity arises lets go play and laugh.... and enjoy life...Yes our bodies will grow old,,,but dont let the heart and soul and spirit age with it...
My Ideal Person
I am looking for a man who is honest and truthful. One who is tired of playing games and ready to be serious about life. I am looking for a man who first of all loves God more than me or anyone else. Someone who is ready to join themselves to the one they love and build a life together. Someone who is willing to stand through the hard times, laugh through the good, and always believe that we can do anything together, but apart we fall. I do not expect perfection. We are human and will fall, but it is in the rising back up that we become stronger and learn from life and can move forward to better ourselves and those that we come in contact with.

I love God with all my heart and try in every way to serve Him...without Him and His caring, guiding hand and control in my life, I know I would not be where I am today...a happy person that has overcome many difficulties in life...

I was born and grew up in Alabama, not far from where I am now...not traveled a lot, but love to and hope to do more..mainly in the southeast, usual tourist places, beach and mountains...Love Smoky Mountians and Virginia Beach...
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I like most everything that goes on at church...ministry and fellowship time...outside of the church, I do volunteer work with an organization I have been involved with: The Walk To Emmaus...but I love and serve God as I go and look for every chance to glorify Him in all I do..
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Monday thru Thursday, I work 10 hours a day, so mainly work, home and necessary stuff...walk every morning at 5:30, coffee on the porch, talking to God to get ready for the day, work, come home,,,,Tuesday is family night..dinner at Mother's...Wednesday, church...weekend,,,work in yard, house and try to have some fun...
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Basically, I strive every day to become a better person..to love and give what the Lord has created me to...to serve Him as I serve those He brings into my life...I do want to find the love of my life and spend the rest of our days loving, living, caring, fighting and making up, laughing, crying, playing, and serving God. Just sucking every bit of life out of this life we can...take care of each other regardless...and when we leave this world, take no regrets....
