My Ideal Person
I'm looking for a male that will be a friend,partner in prayer and possibly Bible Study if we live close enough together,and also someone that could be compatible for dating. I do have an age limit of 22-30 years old. I'm looking for a growing and strong in the Christian faith guy that loves the Lord with all the heart and mind and soul and that spends the daily time in the Word and in prayer. Someone that will like me for me once we get to know each other or even right off the bat. A guy who is close to his family or even working on his relationship with his family.
Anyone that is fun and has a humor and likes to just have a good time with whatever they do and someone that is preferably Baptist,but just as long as they are a Christian! : )Someone that likes to spend time with the opposite and wants to do things together and also go to Christian fellowships,and one that is friendly and outgoing and fun and treats me right. I was treated wrong as a child by my dad.
I like someone that is into sports and movies and music for sure, and being romantic,etc. I'm looking for someone as a pen pal,a dater,a relationship hopeful, prayer partner,or even a Bible Study partner,or anything else that we may be compatible with doing. So write me and we will see what happens.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I became a Christian when I was 8 years old and my life has never been the same! It's been amzing beeing saved by the blood of the Lamb! : ) My faith has grown very much,especially since my last couple of years in college. I go to a Baptist or Christian university and I have been involved in a wonderful church, Coggin Avenue Baptist Church and then I am involved in helping with Disciple Nows,play in the church orchestra, am involved in the BSM activities that we have on campus and that helps me to stay growing in my faith and my Christian life. I have had ups and downs like all Christians do,especially when they are growing but I have especially been very strong and growing daily through my time in the Word and prayer daily and also the closeness that I have with all of my Christian friendships and church members that are here for me and I"m always there for them and we encourage and love and care for everyone around us and I'm always growing! : ) I love Jesus Christ with all of my heart,soul and mind and want to serve others and love others as He tells us to do in the Bible. I am definitely a loving a caring person that is really friendly and outgoing and puts everyone ahead of me in what I do and am very encouraging and love people so much. I love myslef too and this helps me to grow when what I do on a daily basis comes back around to me and blesses me and when God blesses me too! : ) I am now attending Churchill Baptist Church in San Antonio.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Zephaniah 3:17 is one of my favorite verses and just covers how the Lord is with us!Matthew 6:33,all of the Psalms,the Proverbs, Philippians 1:1-3, James 5:13-16,Lamentations 3:23-24, Romans chapter 8(all of them), The Love Chapter, and many others. I have a lot of verses that mean a lot to me. I enjoy finding new verses in the Bible when I have my quiet times or at Bible Studies and I use them and grow and think on them. The whole Bible is very important to me b/c you should live by it.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I think a good meeting would be at a fellowship or at a camp or at a Bible Study or somewhere fun like that. Also, meeting at a resteraunt or a mall and walking around and going out to eat,going to a movie. Maybe meeting at one or another's church and then after that go out and get to know each other. Meet in a park or at a beach or somewhere with pretty scenery and somewhere good to get to know each other and have fun. There are not really any places that I'm picky on going to or meeting,just whever we would like to go,what we both like doing and where would be best for us both to meet.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in the same house in San Antonio,TX since the day I was born. I love it there and have had really a wonderful life besides the couple of big upsets that I have had in my life. I've gone to the same church my whole life till I went to college,but I went to Shearer Hills Baptist and it was a really great church to be raised in and am really close to a lot of the people that are still in the church and all the college kids and even a lot of the youth, I'm close to them. I've been to New Mexico to see the Indian Adobes and then I"ve also been to New Mexico to ski. I've riden the Silverton Train and that was a lot of fun. I've flown to Orlando Florida my freshman year in high school for the Band Trip and had a blast and then I've flown to Houston to stay with some of my rich relatives and to have alot of fun and be spoiled. I've been to skiing a few different places in Colorado and camping in Denver and then have been camping a lot of places in TX!I've been to Galveston,TX a couple of times and also Corpus Christi and other beaches in TX. I've been to Enchanted Rock a few times and have been to Lake DeGray and Hot Springs, Arkansas and that was a blast and it's gorgeous and a lot of fun! : ) I recommend that you go there. Well, I've also been to New Orleans,my senior year in h.s. I went there for my Choir Trip and that was a blast and I even got to pet a shark there at the aquarium! : ) New Orleans,Arkansas and Colorado have been the best places that I've traveled to. I have enjoyed traveling all over TX for Band Tour at HPU,it's been a wonderful experience and a really good recruiting tool for the Music Department we have that is wonderful!! : ) I have gone to tour some churches and schools in East Texas and then also going to Branson,Missouri and that was great! I have done a Disciple Now in Llano, TX and had four girls that were three juniors and one senior and we had a wonderful and fun time! Fabulous long ladies! I'ld love to travel to other places in my life still! : ) I enjoy it b/c it's a lot of fun and a rush and it's good to go out and see other cultures and customs and to know what other cities and states are like that you've just heard about or seen pictures of. I have also been to The Meyerson and the HPU Symphonic Band played a concert there and that was a great time being there and getting to play there and that was my sophomore year! Then I have been on two mission trips through the BSM to Oklahoma and Houston and then went with my Bible study group to a different part of work and did a lot of evangelism and dirty work there as well as when in Oklahoma. In Oklahoma I got to lead the music at the services at the church and lead Bible studies for the girls at the church. I also played with the kids at recreation time and we redid the floor of the church and some other parts of the church as well. Then in Houston we were in the bad parts of Houston and did evangelism and cleaned up a place to become a coffee shop and another place to be a Bible study and Praise and Worship place for those in Houston and in that area to come to. On that trip I got to play my Flute with my good friend Andrea who sang a hymn in Spanish, it was beautiful. Besides those I am looking at going overseas to either Japan or China or Russia, or even somewhere else, to teach English and to get to know the cultures and the people wherever I go. I will also do some mission work as well. I am excited about this.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I'm a part of the College and Singles Sunday School class here at Churchill Baptist Church in San Antonio. We have a really small class that averages 6 and so it is a really big difference when you were with atleast 75-90 every Sunday and had a Praise Band and things like that. Now it's a small traditional Baptist church that doesn't have many college and singles that come. Outside of the church I'm spending time in the Word and prayer and I offer myself as a sponser with the youth group and do VBS when they have it every year. I still play with the instrumentalists some here at Churchill Baptist and sing in the Choir some too. I am looking at going overseas and just seeking a job right now that I am a graduate of HPU! I have been teaching Flute lessons and enjoy doing that a lot so that takes up some time outside of the church. Otherwise I just relax and have fun, spend time with family and friends and seek to make new relationships and continue to grow in the Lord and seek where the Lord wants me to go and what He wants me to do. Every Sunday after church we go over to my Grandma's house and have lunch and visit and this is time spent with my family, my Grandma and Mom, my brothers when they come, my Aunt and Uncle and their two kids and my cousin Charles. This has been a family tradition since I was about 1 or 2 years old. I like to go to concerts and shows, movies and just hang out and have fun, go out to eat with the youth or with my Mom or Mom and Grandma and spend some time with my Dad and brothers.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Some of my personal goals are to get a good, satisfying job that I enjoy since I have graduated from HPU(2003) with my BAAS and Music is my concentration and Christian Studies is my minor!I teach Flute lessons and am continuing to get students. I would really like to also teach music, teach kids/youth, do missions and ministry, and other things like that. Right now I am inbetween jobs and just seeking to find the one that the Lord has for me. Well I would love to travel overseas and evangelize and teach English, maybe do the Journeymen program, that would be fabulous! Also I just strive to do my best in all that I do and be a representitive for the Lord and have my witness be a great one! I want those around me to see and feel the love and light of Jesus Christ!: ) Spiritually I am just seeking God daily and wanting to stay focused on Him and grow in Him more and more each day and stay in the Lord and follow where He wants me to go. Stay on the straight and narrow path. I enjoy working with kids and youth and so I am working with the youth group at Churchill and we are getting to know each other better and hanging out and having fun and I am someone that they look up to and want to be with and talk to! I know the Lord has blessed me with this. I have just been so blessed in my life from the Lord and continue to be blessed through all things from the Lord! I am His Child, Daughter and Princess and am so very much loved and so I just keep that desire in my heart and keep the love, joy and peace of the Lord in my heart and try not to let satan or evil things get me down in my life!
