I am a 61-year-young Christian lady who loves my Godd and wants to fill her life with love and happiness. I love the beauty God gives us in sunrises, sunsets, animals, music, picnics, walks, sightseeing, cooking, dining out, and sharing and caring. It would be awesome to have that special someone God chooses for me to share all of his interests and mine.
I believe happiness comes of the capacity to feel deeply, to enjoy simply, to think freely, to risk life, to be needed. And, I try to live this way.
I believe people come into our lives for reasons, seasons or a lifetime. So, if it's meant to be, we will meet at one of those levels.
My Ideal Person:
Is God first in your life? Are you a good Christian man that has learned what life if truly about and follows Bible teachings? Are you sensitive, caring, romantic and believe in a one-woman only relationship? Do you walk the walk instead of just talking the talk? Then, we should definitely talk, so please email me!
Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I am currently a member of the Presbyterian faith. However, I have previously been Evangelical United Brethren, Methodist and Latter Day Saint. I have learned from each, but have so much more to learn.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
1 Corinthians 13
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
A nice quiet place--park, restaurant, coffee place--just somewhere that we could talk and get to know each other better. To avoid a lot of the nervous awkwardness, we would have already gotten to be friends first through lots of talking and typing!
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Wyoming and Colorado. In my adult years, I lived in Hawaii and Las Vegas. Now, I'm in Arizona. I have traveled much of the United States and just a little bit into Canada, Mexico, and went on a cruise to Jamaica and surrounding areas. I love sightseeing and traveling. My favorite places have been picnics in the Aspen groves in Colorado in the fall, the volcanoe in the ocean in Hawaii, the burros in the steets in Oatman, AZ, the beauty of Sedona, AZ and too many to mention!
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Music is a love of mine. I am a lead Praise Team singer and play the piano and organ. I do music therapy with the elderly, Alzheimer's and Dementia people. Prior to that I was an instructor, animal rescuer and counselor for Safehouse for Battered Women (and men and children)
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I am a Social Services Director for a 120-bed care center. I like to do many things such as go for walks, movies, bake and cook, delight in these Arizona sunrises and sunsets, listen to music, sightseeing, picnic, and more and more!
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My mission statement is to feel deeply, enjoy simply, think freely, risk life and to be needed.
