My Ideal Person
I abhor dishonesty and appreciate the effort given to live up to the standard God has placed before us. Any man who seeks His authority above all else is alright with me. True honesty is admitting when you're wrong, owning your responsiblity and overcoming your obstacles to arrive at a true apprectiation for the love, grace, forgiveness, and strength provided to you by God. Tell me how much you appreciate Him and we'll compare notes...because I have a pretty big list!!

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I deepen my faith daily with prayer and reading my Bible. I seek to know God to the fullest. Anyone interested in me will have to be interested in having a similar relationship with God. I trust that God has always been there for me no matter what. I believe He forgives and has forgiven me of all my sins. I think He desires for all His children to grow in strength and love.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 Workmanship is also translated as work of art in some translations. I can really relate to this verse since I have done some painting. It helps in the way I see others and myself and what God wants for us.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Because I have relied on myself too long and now I feel it is time to rely on God and know the beauty of a match made by Him.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I've lived in Georgia all my life. I traveled across country on my own once, just me and my dog. We camped all across the country in a Chevy Van. I went north, then west, then south, then back east. I saw so many things and visited so many people. It was a wonderful experience and would love to share the memory of it with you sometime. Of all the places I have been so far? The Grand Tetons were the best!

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I am the Sunday School Superintendent at my church. It's really not that big of a deal though. What I like most about it is getting to decide what new stuff gets to be done...whether it's starting a new class or ordering new curriculum.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I wake up before the sun. Read and pray. Eat breakfast. Get ready for work and fix my lunch. Drive to work. Work a very tight schedule of teaching 7 year olds. Drive home, feed my dog, exercise (well, depends on how late I get home), eat, check email, read or watch tv or call friends or family, go to bed. TaaDaa!

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Personal: Paint more, write more and be consistent in my exercising. Spiritual: Becoming more familar with the Master's voice, developing my discernment in spiritual direction.
