My Ideal Person:
A Christian man in a Vince Gill package. Well...that's not really totally accurate. I'd love to find someone to be a good friend, & maybe more if God wants it. I'd love to find someone to help me find some fun & adventure in this world. My grandma died earlier this year at 101.8, so if God has me here for another 48yrs I'd like to do & see things, & enjoy God's world.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is very important to me. I rediscovered it at the worst time in my life. I've found out more than once since how God loves to fix broken things, & that nothing that can happen to me here on earth will matter when I go home someday.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Is:49.23-the last part talks about if we have hope in the Lord that we won't be disappointed. Also Is:12.2 The Lord is my strenght & my song!

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I think it's very important to be "equally yoked" When God is the center of a relationship, it's stronger & can withstand horrible things.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in KY. I've been to Florida, Myrtle Beach, & Springfield, Mo. My oldest daughter & her family moved to western NY last summer, so I've traveled there a few times since. Other than those, nowhere exotic or terribly exciting.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Singing. Spending time with my Brothers & Sisters in Jesus in sweet fellowship. And when we used to have choir retreats--singing out under a starfilled sky accapella!! What a beautiful sound!!!!!!!!

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Abuse my snooze alarm, head off to work, come home, then I become lazy, unless someone calls or my kids come over! I usually watch a little TV & do laundry or something like that, then it's off to bed to do it all over again.I'm pretty boring, but I really want to find someone to have some fun & excitement with.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Just to become more faithful with the time I spend with God. I don't spend as much time as I should. I really enjoy spending time in a Womens Bible Study, but there haven't been any available for my time schedule.
