Bible believing, fun loving, hard working woman that aspires to be a Proverbs 31 woman. I like gospel and contemporary christian music. People watching, antiques, flea markets and clean comedy (like Yakov) are fun. I am patriotic to the core and always have been. I like Gatlinburg, Branson and Norris Lake (and Cumberland Falls for the Moon Bow).
I'm divorced and have made peace with God and my Ex. I've a son and daughter. My son is in his second year of college studying to be a youth pastor. My daughter is married to a youth pastor and has given me two lovely grandchildren.
I am gainfully employed with the same company for 15 years and will shortly be able to dream a dream and begin a new chapter. Am financially as secure as anyone these days but find that my definition of success I have always viewed with eternal eyes rather than temporal ones.
Singing in the church Choir and solo's on occasion bring me great pleasure. I am usually rather soft spoken and have just a smidgen of a southern thing to my voice.
My Ideal Person:
Humor is so important, but I don't think mean humor is funny. Music would certainly be a plus, since I love to sing. I like to go, see and do.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
So many of the songs I know come to mind. My faith is built on nothing less than Jesus' Love and his righteousness, I would be nothing without him, Love Lifted me....... oh and I could go on and on. I have no idea how anyone even walks around without him, unknowing of his love and care. I heard a preacher on the radio once make the most profound statement I'd ever heard... "This earth is the only heaven an unsaved person will ever know, and this earth is the only HELL a Saved Christian will ever know"
WOW!! Such wisdom in such simplicity.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Without Christ as the root, the foundation, the center, there wouldn't be a flourishing growth, a flowering, blooming relationship that could withstand the times of drought, heavy winds and rain, or the blanketing snows of this life.
I want a relationship designed by God himself that is based upon His love which teaches us how to love each other.
There is a country song that speaks about a tree strong enough to bend, and in a relationship one must be that strong, HOWEVER, without the roots and foundation that tree will just up root and be of little use other than firewood.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born in Dayton Ohio. Spent much time near Norris Lake in Tennessee. Went to college in Kentucky. Lived in Phoenix a couple of years.
I've taken road trips mostly in the midwest, and a few of the northern states, but haven't been out east, far west or north west.
I just love Cumberland Falls, Norris Dam, and Branson MO. All for different reasons.
Cumberland Falls is so majestic and beautiful. The moonbow is something that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. Even in the dark, God still reminds of his promise with that beautiful bow of color.
Norris Dam the creativity of man. A way to regulate and control to protect and provide for those in that area. God has given man such insite.
And Branson, Geeze, what a clean resort town. Now I really enjoy Gatlinburg, but Branson, now there's a town. Clean shows, clean streets, little crime, and lots to go and see and do. There is no "red light" district there. AMAZING!
