I am a single woman looking for friends that I can enjoy talking to and writing to. I changed my handle from Snowbird1961 to CactusRose because I feel changes are good once in a while. So you may also check out my previous profile. It hasn't changed much except that I now have 3 grand children.
I like fishing, camping, bowling, playing pool, and usually willing to try anything once if it sounds interesting enough. I like be spontaneous and don't really care for long range plans. I believe life is too short to postpone having fun.
I am still the same person I always was, just another year older and maybe a little wiser. HAHA don't we all wish?? What else can I say? Oh!! I'm interseted in Children's ministry. I would love to travel some day putting on Children shows and Bible Schools or summer programs. Still praying on that.
That's about it in a nutshell. A small note usually gets my attention. I don't respond to instant marriage proposals without photos, LOL. I don't normally respond to winks or viewing profiles. Again, check out Snowbird1961 profile for this. But I am searching for an honest, good humored, good spirited, charming, and God fearing man. I don't want someone who is going to play games or who thinks they are "the" perfect, man. I don't like perfection. I like to have fun and be loved and will return the same when it comes from the heart.
Update: I have found that someone I have been looking for. And I found him here. So don't give up people. It can happen. God bless you and I will still be around to visit now and then.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Very strong now. Been through a lot, so it is important to me that I don't lose my faith. I'd be lost without it.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
John 3:16 because it gave us all new hope for forgiveness and eternal life.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Because I need someone I can study with, pray with, and grow in the Lord with. It doesn't work without God. I've tried it.

Grew up in Lordsburg, NM
Been to CO, OK, ARK, LA, AZ and KS, don't really have a favorite. I like New Mexico for it's weather.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Studying scriptures and anything that creates having good clean fun

Wake up, make coffee, take shower, get dressed, go to work, too dull, read what I said in Snowbird1961 profile. much more intersting.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
To be the best I can be and leave behind a better world for my family to grow up in. To leave a mark and to pass down all the knowledge I can to my grandkids. To lead them to knowing more of Christ. I don't want to be just someones mom or grandma, or ex wife or wife. I want to be "ME" and have everyone look back and say "I loved her".
