You know what? The best way to put this all in a nutshell is to bulletpoint myself. So, here goes: * 45 years old * Divorced 2 1/2 years after 23 yrs of marriage * My daughter is 20 and gave birth to her daughter on April 27, 2008! Jahzanna (Jazzy) was 6 lbs 11 oz and 20" long. She's gorgeous and I'm a Grandma! * My son is 18 and is enlisted in the Marine Corps. He left for boot camp July 7 and I miss him terribly. I stay abreast of his activities on the MCRD website and stay in contact with other recruit parents. * Cancer survivor (melanoma - not fun) * Disabled Navy vet (served nine years - two honorable discharges) * Avid golfer (20.1 handicap). But I wasn't able to go at all in 2007. Hit a couple of buckets was all. 2008 will hopefully be a different story. * I do a lot of bicycling. I've been bicycling to and from work, since it's only 3.5 miles away. I was thinking of making a T-shirt and putting on the back "Saving Some Gas & Losing Some *%#" Commuters would get a chuckle out of that one. * Attend Faith Community Bible Church in Boise regularly - recently started nursery duty and love it * I adore my parents - they are invaluable to me * Own a goofy cockatiel named Mickey (that bird cracks me up) * Love comedic movies (Disney, Pixar, etc.) * Love the tropics - hope to move there one day - don't care which ocean.
K, that's enough for now. Have a terrific day! Beth

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I'm a non-denominational born-again Christian. My faith is who I am and why I'm here. That certainly doesn't make me perfect, though. That's the Lord's characteristic.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
John 3:16 - it's my salvation.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I was married to a non-believer and it doesn't work. The Lord commanded that I be "equally yoked" and I strayed from that. I also paid for it.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
Lived in Grand Forks, ND, Tachikowa, Japan, California, Wisconsin, Florida, Illionois, Hawaii...did I mention I was an Air Force kid and in the Navy myself?
Favorite place to visit is anywhere there's a beach or a roller coaster.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Learning!!!
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Work, work, work...
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Too personal to go into.
