I have been a Christian all my life, but unfortunately, I have not been as close with the Lord as I should have been. I am ashamed to say it, but sometimes, I struggled with my faith. I was willfully impatient. I am correcting that now. I spend a lot of time reading my Bible, and talking to the Lord. I know that when I struggle with my words in prayer, He knows my heart and my thoughts. I often have to apologize to My Father for my lack of words and stumbling along with my prayer to him, but I know He understand that I am human and flawed. The faith of a mustard seed..........Yes, now I have that and more. I am in the process of continuing to build and expand my relationship with the Lord and I am interested in friends who are God fearing and love the Lord as much as I do. I am a work in progress, and I am blessed to have His grace, His comfort, guidance, forgiveness and blessings.I love to travel and meet new people. I am a people watcher. I love theme parks and zoos, and seeing and experiencing new things. I like to spend time working in my yard, walking, reading, watching movies, working crossword puzzles, visiting with family and spending quality time with my little grandson, whom I have nicknamed ScooterPoot or Poot for short.Hey, it's a grandmother's prerogative to give her grandchildren cute, little nicknames!Just as it is my Poot's prerogative to look at me with those big, baby blue eyes and I can't deny him! LOL Yes, I am wrapped securely around his stubby, little finger and would never want to be anywhere else! Update....my son and daughter-in-law are expecting again! It's another boy. They are determined to keep making me more of a Grammie! LOL Now I have to think up another cute nickname for this little one who is coming around Chritmas time this year. What a wonderful Christmas present!! LOL I have two dogs that are my faithful and loving companions. Dottie and Gidget are my puppy girls! They love me unconditionally and are always glad to see me and welcome me home. They entertain me with their antics, comfort me when I am upset and are as devoted to me as I am to them. All they ask of me is to love them and be good to them. People could learn a few things from dogs. I value honesty, integrity, good common sense, a sense of humor, manners and kindness in others. I have a stressful and sometimes dangerous job, so I no not like drama in my personal life, as I get plenty of drama at work. Life is about choices and learning from those choices, and growing from adversity. Therefore, I like to choose my battles when I can, not have them forced upon me. I am truly blessed and thank the Lord every day for his love, strength and guidance.
My Ideal Person:
I am interested in friends who are God fearing and love the Lord as much as I do. I look for honesty, sense of humor, integrity, engaging personality, intelligence, and kindness in people. I believe that a man needs to be needed and respected. I also feel that a woman needs to be cherished and appreciated. I hope to some day have a man in my life that I could love, respect and need. A man who I can allow myself to be vulnerable with and he won't take advantage of my vulnerablity. A man to be my best friend, confidant, lover, the person I hate to be away from and can't wait to see each morning and every evening. Someone who is constantly with me in my thoughts and heart when we are apart, going about our daily duties and work. I hope that it is the Lord's will that I am someday blessed with such a man in my life.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is everything to me.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Phillippians 4:13 As a face is reflected in the water, so the heart reflects the person. Proverbs 27:19
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
The Lord gave me life for his pleasure. Man is made in his image and as humans we should strive to be Christlike. I am human and I sin and make mistakes, but thankfully, the Lord forgives me because he loves me, as I am his child. I love the Lord for his blessing, peace, and because he loved me enough to send his son to die a horrible death for my sins. No matter if no one else ever loves me or ever did love me, God's love is forever and eternal.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up all over because my father was a career military soldier. I have lived in Germany.I have also traveled to Austria while living in Germany. I was born in Texas and am a Texas girl, born and bred.I recently got to travel to Penn. and New Jersery........that was Oct of 2006. I also love San Antonio and the Austin area and the Hill Country of Texas. I have traveled just about all of Texas except the Big Bend area. I hope to one day see it and also to take a cruise to some island get-away.......it's a dream of mine, anyway. I also love Cloud Croft , New Mexico. I love to visit zoos and themes parks too. I also would love to visit Scotland and Ireland.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Because of my work schedule, I do not get to go to church every Sunday, but on Sundays that I am off, I attend. I love to spend time a thome and consider myself somewhat ofa homebody. However, when I get a wild hair, it is not unknown for me, to take a short trip on the spur of the moment.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I am an early riser and usually awaken between 5:30 and 6:30 AM, without an alarm clock. I immediately let my dogs out in the backyard to do their thing, and then make coffee. As my coffee makes, I make my bed. I work 4, 12 hour days, then I am off for 4 days. On my days off, I try to take care of things around the house, like the yard work, errands, etc. Also, I try to spend time with family and catch up with friends on the phone during my days off. I am very oranized and like a schedule for my daily activities. However, I can be spontaneous too.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My spritual goal is to have a closer relationship with my Lord. As far as personal goals, just take it one day at a time and count my blessings. I am content with my life, but I would love to have someone to share life with, like a significant other.
