So you want to get to know me? Well, here's what's important to know (for now): My friends would say that I have an easy-going, laid back type of perality. Some of them think I actually have a pretty good sense of humor, but that depends on who you ask. I can also be sarcastic at times, but it's all in fun. I stay active in my church. Church is very much a priority to me. I practice my faith by trying to live by the bible and its principles....no more, no less. Although I may fall short in areas, I definitely believe in having a balanced and consistent spiritual life. I am very blessed to work in a profession that I enjoy very much. I work with students that have various types of communication problems. Also, I work in the public school system, so obviously, gaining great financial wealth is not my main priority in life.........however, if it's yours, I'm fine with that. Okay, just joking about that last line..... Those around me know that I absolutely love to travel and see new places. I am content with sitting at home relaxing (because I don't get to do it very often), but I won't hesitate to pack my bags and take a last minute trip. I've been to several destinations in Europe and various countries in Central America. I enjoy photography, scrapbooking (a photo hobby), and music....and like any normal, red-blooded, American woman, I love to shop. I would really appreciate it if you made the first move to let me know you're interested. Sorry, but I'm kinda old school on that one. I like guys who have tenacity and don't mind stepping up to the plate. However, if I contact you, don't be too surprised...... I enjoy going to plays and going to listen to music, but for a first date I really like doing things that let me get to know you better. So skip the movie idea and just ask me out for coffee....I like to talk and have good conversation. Okay, so I've said enough for now. My Ideal Person
First of all I'm looking for someone that has consistent moral values that are based on biblical principles.

It's important to me that you love and respect your family. I admire people that honor their mother and/or father.

If you genuinely love people and getting to know different types of people, you're my kind of person. I like people that have a respect for different cultures.

I tend to gravitate more towards open, welcoming, warm personalities. The dark, silent, brooding, serious-all-the-time type isn't my thing. You don't have to be a jokester, but I love to laugh and have a good time and someone that can do the same is a plus.

I appreciate men who can enjoy cultured (art, music, etc..) events, but also knows how to relax watching sports or just kicking it with friends.
