My philosophy on life as some see it today is even though US in a recession, I chose to remain optimistic and put my energy into believing that though realistically, we have challenges there are opportunities. In the realm of obtaining a new relationship/friendship I remain positive in knowing that it takes two people who work together through whatever external circumstances are before them. When there is a union/friendship nothing can come between the strength between two; it is an inner strength, confidence, wisdom and the Grace of God that gives a couple the "knowing" and "trusting" that I believe it takes to make a strong relationship that lasts and withstands.
I am a confident woman and I would like to meet a man who is okay with this and understands that I, through wisdom and humility appreciates this within myself. I may not be in this same place at any given time in my life, so i would not expect the same from another; for I also have my weak moments. I express this because I have learned from my mistakes and I am human after all and realize others are as well. I have a sense of adventure; I am open minded and I "think outside the box." I love the outdoors and love the mountains and the beaches equally.
I love to live in the moment and not dwell on the past or anyone else's past. I do not carry "baggage" and would not like to meet someone who has not closed previous chapters in their lives. I have reached a point in my life that I do not tolerate anything less than I deserve. All this means is very simple - respect, kindness, realness and a man who wants to share friendship. Above all, this friendship would evolve to a more spiritual union, were we can impact our world and the ones around us. I do not play games and I would appreciate the same in return.
I love children; healthy and capable to conceive, and I come from a large Italian family. Though no children of my own; this was a choice I made through marriage that was not healthy. I welcome and love children of all ages; but I do not want to be "second in line" when I am in a relationship. I feel I would be blessed to share children in a new relationship; but deserve the respect and blessing in return because I have a lot to offer as a woman, companion and I am very family oriented. Actually, I thought that at this time of my life, I imagine how it would be 20 years from now to see a child through his/her college graduation years.... Go figure, because I am a VERY young 46-years young; to me age is only numbers, so who knows???? I am comfortable either direction God takes me. Enough on my introduction; thought I would get a lot out of the way initially. I look forward to hearing from a sincere, transparent, "real" man.
