Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Extremely!
I am a member of the prayer and praise team at church. I am humbled and very appreciative of the talents God has given me. I try to share them with everyone.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
It says something about a person, where his/her head and heart are. It tells something about their personality: Arrogant or Humbled; holding onto problems or giving them to God; stressed or calm/assured God will handle things.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
From birth to 6 years old I lived on my Grandfather's farm in Iowa. From 6 years to 14 years old I lived in Denver, CO. From 14 to finishing high school I lived on a farm in Missouri. I left home at 18, have lived in Missouri, Kansas, and now Michigan.
I have traveled to every state in the US, except Hawaii and Alaska. I have traveled to Mexico (border towns only), and just a bit of Canada. I spent two weeks on one of the Canary Islands. Last Christmas I spent two weeks in Germany, and traveled to the surrounding countries.
I still have a list of places I want to travel to!
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Horseback riding. I own and show a Paso Fino and a Foundation Quarter Horse. The Paso has gone to vacation bible school with me and the kids LOVED it!
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
There is nothing routine about my days or nights. I teach at several different colleges, whether online or face-to-face. Each day of the week is different. I tried to work in industry at one point in my life, but couldn't handle the day-to-day routine!
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Personal goal? I want to complete my PhD.
Spiritual goal? I want to finish reading the Bible from cover to cover.
