I am a blessed child of God. I see the wonder in the snowflake and the power in the dandelion seed. I love the outdoors and all of creation...I give back what I am given in the work I do for a veterinarian clinic. I am an artist and a writer and a spiritual creature by nature. I celebrate myself as Whitman says, and give thanks for all my attributes...my insight, my sensuality, my honesty, my moments of deep joy, my off-beat sense of humor,,,the hard times and the good times are to be celebrated together for without one I cannot know the other. I have been given so much in this life....and would like to share that with someone truly special and dear to my heart
My Ideal Person:
Intelligent and funny and caring. A gentleman, yes...but more importantly a "gentle man". A man who can touch and acknowledge his spiritual side...a man who can laugh at the small stuff instead of sweating the small stuff...(and it's all small stuff). A dress up and/or dress down kind of guy. One who can celbrate the pleasures and joys we are given to share in this life and not be loaded down with guilt about it. A strong man who does not need rescuing who would like to meet a strong woman who does not need to be rescued. An animal lover would be especially welcome. Come and play with me and lets have fun and enjoy ourselves.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I love the church service. I also find my spiritual expression in nature just as easily. I love the community and I feel the need for the communion service. I do try and put back something into the church besides money in the plate...I enjoy teaching the most. My faith is the most important thing that I have...it is the foundation on which the rest of my life rests.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
From II Corinthians..."for now we see as through a glass darkly, but then face to face. Now I know in part but then I will know even as I also am known"
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I am spiritually based and need the same. Nobody can be there for another unless they have a strong foundation of love and faith that their lives are based on. The person who believes in nothing has nothing to give and cannot truly receive.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Haverhill MA . I have traveled to about 36 states in the country so far and have been to Canada. England, Ireland and Scotland. I lived in eastern PA for about 12 years. I now live in the frozen wilds of Maine and I love it here but its fun to gripe about all this snow too lol.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I like to volunteer. I've done that at soup kitchens and the Boston Food Bank, and at Habitat for Humanity which was a great experience. I love to go to movies, and watch videos and am a library geek...I am always reading and I wish the day were longer so I could surf the net more. I also love working with animals and love horses...it has been awhile but I used to like to go horseback riding. I love to travel and take long drives anywhere. Love to eat out and go flea marketing and visit friends and just kick back and enjoy myself and my companions.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I work for a vet clinic and wear two hats there....grooming and reception. I make my own hours to a degree and often find myself working longer than 8-5 just because I want to do the job right and because I just plain enjoy it so much. I also write articles for local newspaper in my spare time.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
To publish more....to travel more.....to find my soulmate......to be the best me that I can be.
