My friends say I am very original and unique. Very sensitive and caring, yet definitely not a drama queen, lol. I'm artistic and highly open-minded. A think-outside-the-box kinda lady. I am interested in the paranormal. A dog lover. The kind of true friend who WILL be there in the bad times. Have found that non-Christians are insensitive, dishonest, and emotionally chilly partners. No married men, please.. I take God's word seriously. I'm ready to get to know someone who really IS what they say they are about. What's on the inside of a person is always most important! It's what is in your soul that counts.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for a real soulmate, that one in a zillion man who gets me, and I get him. He will be a unique in many ways. Requirements: He has to be sensitive, open-minded, very patient, and very kind of heart.. thoughtfulness is always appreciated. He will be honest, a true Christian man, integrity is his moral virtue in life. Intelligence is a plus, but more importantly emotionally so. {Logical, Dr. Spock, alien and/or robotic types please look elsewhere.} He is possibly artistic himself, appreciating culture, the creative side of life, movies and music. Chances are, he loves animals too. He is real, down-to-earth, salt of the earth {a little street sense is okay} and doesn't have to pretend otherwise. He is comfortable in his own skin, yet he longs for the intensity of love as it was meant to be.. in the will of God.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I'm Lutheran. A bit of a closet Catholic, ha. I am less concerned with denomination; faith is important certainly, MOST important is recognizing and loving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. I can be friends with a Jewish person as well as a Catholic/other. I talk with God or Jesus anywhere, the same is true for prayer. Faith is the glue of life, the substance holding Christians together. Faith is about having hope and being optimistic, even when things are really tough. It's the promise of eternity, belief in what we cannot see yet do feel in His presence, a peace beyond this world. Knowing Jesus is all about having and knowing personal joy in adversity.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
1 Corinthians 13, my all-time favorite! The greatest is love...hoping all things, bearing all things, believing all things... {I also relate to Job, and love the story of Lazarus.} Psalms... soothing and comforting in troubled times. Revelation, the end times seem imminent if we are not already in their midst.. current world events would indicate that we are.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I have had relationships with non-believers, and they always manage to fail miserably. The focus is usually on material or only earthly things, and often views on important moral issues vary greatly. And disappoint greatly as well. Non-believers tend to want to rush into the physical realm, blatantly oblivious, or unconcerned with, the will of God for a man and woman. I prefer to get to know a man as a friend first, allow things to develop naturally, have a strong moral foundation to work with. A physical relationship comes with marriage. This honors our heavenly Father.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Kansas City and St. Joseph, Missouri. I also lived in Greely, Colorado and Bloomington, Minnesota. Have travelled to Kansas, Nebraska, Texas, Arizona, Utah, Washington and Oregon.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Singing, activities involving faith, writing, poetry, painting {portraits, interior decorating} home improvement, hanging out with the dogs, meaningful communication with friends and family, dancing, being outdoors, hiking, watching movies, going to the theater....anything artistic and cultural. {Travel and flying would be great, also..}
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
My daily routine varies somewhat. I have read that consistency is an important virtue, and believe that as Christians we should try to be consistent.. I try to incorporate faith in all of my days, no matter what else I need to do, or have to do.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
We all have a spiritual calling or purpose in this life. I believe God wants me involved in praying for others and offering ministry and compassion to others. I will always be artistic.. I love to paint and decorate, it's a way of life for me. Marriage would be welcomed with the man God intends for me. I've been alone for a very long time, so I am not afraid of that. I know myself very well. I'm interested in real estate, and in helping others. As a Christian I hope to bless others, I try to be a part of ministries, and in leading others to Jesus. {Read prior answers} Life is measured in time like music, and it's important not to take it, or your intended partner in life, for granted.
