I was frightened and screaming when skiing at the Blackjack ski resort in Michigan, in spite of it being the easiest green line. I am timid about exciting sports but still love to try. I have been in the US for only two years. I received my master degree last year in Illinois. I enjoy traveling. In fact, I have been to many places within the US that a lot Americans have never gone to, like Yellowstone National Park, Canyon land, Arches, and Monument Valley. I also like shopping in big cities like Chicago, Paris, and Milan. Most of the time, I only look and don’t buy. I have been to many countries and we can email each other about my experience in Europe countries, Canada, Brazil, or Korea if you want.
Born and raised in Taiwan, I finished my bachelor and MBA degrees and worked for several years there. I have many friends there, and we usually hang out at the restaurants with a lot of good food. We went hiking and had good teatime during the evening. Sometimes we sang Karaoke. I worked for three companies before; most of them were related to Information Technology. I was sales, marketing, and the buyer. I am like most of the Taiwanese people, nice and compassionated. I am from small family and my parents are very nice and love me very much.
I like to communicate with people. I am taking a class on how to listen to others and speak in an encouraging way. I’ve found that I am improving. I spend a lot of time hanging out with friends, so I know many people from different countries and their cultures. I also do some social activities. I attended anti-war protests once in Washington DC and helped the Green Party with election activities in 2006. I am thinking about pursuing some business ideas that help people’s lives, such as global protection or Internet trading. I like attending activities about global protection and humanism related forums. I enjoy the beautiful seasons of the US with different scenes like snow, maple leaves, and blossoming flowers. I like to take pictures of this awesome scenery. I listen to pop, jazz, and classical music. Sometimes, I enjoy playing Chopin Etudes on the piano. I love all kinds of food but they must be great, for example, I like most Chinese food, but excluding most Chinese restaurants in US. I love seafood, but not the ones I get at the mid-west area grocery stores. I enjoyed seeing painting especially Impressionism, so I always start from the painting gallery when going to the museum. I like Pilates, weight lifting, and running.
Friends would say I am funny and easy-going. I am down-to-earth and like teasing. I have a sympathetic heart and am enthusiastic to help people. I enjoy Christian worship and spend a lot of time keeping company with those friends and helping with Christian activities. I can be laid-back in any group, so I usually feel relaxed and can talk to strangers easily. Sometimes I am logical and intelligent, so I can talk to you about engineering, psychology, or whatever your expertise is. I have a silly adventurous spirit, that’s why I decided to quit my job to study in the US. I am open-minded with all kinds of thoughts. I am honest and it is natural for me to tell people clearly how I feel. Sometimes I am silly and don’t know several common sense, such as I don’t have good direction; I buy varieties of veggie and fish and don’t know their names.
My Ideal Person:
I learned a lot while living in the US. I have been building a strong Christian life here, so I would like to find a faithful Christian partner. I would like to meet someone who is optimistic, wise, good tempered, has great taste, respects women, takes action, is patient, and would take care of and love whatever future family they might have.
