My son has told me I am a levis to panty hose lady because I can be in levis during the day and then that evening be all dolled up in an evening gown with all the appropriate jewelry and make up. A friend has called me a renaissance lady because of my varied/many interests.
I like a variety of things such as fixing up my house, flying a plane, reading, dancing, church activities(I volunteer to greet people as they enter the church and I am participating in Celebrate Recovery-Fantastic program), just being outside walking in the park/neighborhood/along a beach/river/in the desert, play chess. I am a lady who likes conversation and will not play head games or any kind of games. I will be straight foreward and up front. I do not like deceit and dishonesty. I do like to get all dressed up and go places where that is appropriate.
My Ideal Person:
I like men who are commited to life, who are committed to God. They will be truthful and honest. A good conversationalist is liked as I have 2 brothers and my son who are good conversationalists. We can talk for hours and I like to say we solve the worlds problems. The world just does not know it. The man should have a variety of interests. They do not have to match mine as long as some of them do, such as church and dancing. I like educated men.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Jesus is all I need for salvation and this is the most important thing about my faith.
I left a church with cult like beliefs 3 years ago. So knowing Jesus is all I need is a real revelation to me. It is very exciting considering from where I came.

John 3:16, the book of Hebrews and Galatians
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
To have a close relationship, like in marriage, it is important that both have a close relationship with God. That way the partners can talk to each other, study the Bible together and pray together. This does not mean that each should not have private time with God. They should.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
i grew up in Southern California and went to school first grade through college there. I have lived in Montreal, Quebec for 5 years, and in Northern Virginia for about 30 years near Washington, DC. I have been on 2 cruises, one to Mexico and the 2nd to Alaska.
Favorite places to visit-where ever my son is so I can see my grandson and his parents.
Also like Chincoteague Island, Washington, DC, and all the historical sites in Virginia.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
At church I volunteer and greet people when they enter the church. After the service I go to guest central and meet new people who want to know more about our church.
I also am part of the Celebrate Recovery program in my church. We have had it since April of this year and I have been with it from the beginning.
Away from the church I visit my sisters and their families.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
To have a closer walk with Jesus Christ is my number one goal.
