My friends say I am fun to be around and that my number one perspective in life is growing in my relationship with God.
I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, fishing, shooting and taking drives.
My indoor activities include reading, movies, cooking, entertaining friends, and listening to music. I enjoy dining out and like Mexican food, all kinds of fish, some Italian foods, and others I can't think of right now.
I like to read Christian fiction, and the Bible of course and anything to do with the Word of God.
I also enjoy listening to Christian music, and 70's and 80's rock and roll.
My favorite thing to do is visit and fellowship with friends either in my home, theirs, or at church. It's also nice to do outdoor activities with them as the weather permits.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for a man who puts the Lord before anything else and has matured in his faith enough to know how to treat a woman as Christ cares for His church. I would also want a man who can step up and take the lead in a relationship without being controlling. I am looking for a seriously minded man who is ready to pursue a serious relationship.
Favorite television shows:
Frontline, Dateline, Fox News, Nature, Documentaries

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is important to me because without it, I would have no hope. God gives me the faith I need to trust in His Word. That gives me comfort and confidence in knowing who I am and where I’m going. My faith in the cross means that I die a little each day to self and receive the Holy Spirits guidance in everyday living. This is no small task because like everyone else, I am continually being bombarded with the world’s influence. So my prayer life is constant and so is my fellowship with other believers.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Isaiah 53:4 - Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
A Christian relationship is important to me because I don’t have much in common with non-believers. We can talk about worldly things but when it comes to spiritual matters, we can’t connect. My Christian brothers and sisters build me up when I am down and remind me of what is important when I get distracted. Without them, and God’s Word, I wouldn’t be fed on a regular basis. Christian fellowship is one of the most important aspects of my daily life.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Simi Valley CA. until the age of 15. I then moved to Bend to live with my dad and grandma/grandpa. I finished high school here in Bend and then moved around some. I went back to CA. for a while and lived in Torrance and Canoga Park. I had my daughter down there and then we moved back to Bend. I've also lived in Eugene and Salem OR. I haven't traveled much but would like to in the future. My favorite places are the woods, lakes and rivers. I also like big cities just to go downtown and marvel at the tall buildings. I enjoy architecture.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I go to church to worship God and I enjoy fellowship with people. I've done service work as a greeter, and child care provider. I also took many college level bible study classes. Outside the church, I try and share my testimony with others and introduce them to Jesus. This takes courage as we live in such a hostile world. I can't imagine living in China or a Muslim country where Christians are persecuted for their faith. God bless them whose feet bring good news!
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I work from 8:00 to 5:00 during the week - I then join my friends and/or my dad for dinner and/or lunch a couple days/nights a week. I am also involved with my fellowship group which is a great group of people. On weekends, I usually cook and do some domestic things around the house or eat out. Maybe see or rent a movie or go fishing or target practicing depending on the season and time of year. Sundays we go to church and lunch.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My personal goal is to continue to grow in the Lord and to get to know Him better each day. I guess this can be both a personal and spiritual goal. It is very important to me...I would also like to meet you - the one who loves God as much as I do and relies on Him for everything. I pray that he will bring you to me and me to you. Two is better than one in our service to Him. My other personal goals are to stay fit, remain active, and continue to build quality relationships with my family and friends. I'm a doer and love to go places and see new things. I hope you do too.
