If God brings you to it... He'll bring you through it!
I am an evolving Christian woman who has been happily devoted to raising my 3 kids for 20 years. They are mature and responsible teens who are finding their way better than I could hope. Separation and di...vorce (I so hate this tag!) is no happy ordeal... but I can see God's hand on me and our circumstances here. We all have grown much through it all.
"There is no greater joy than to know my children walk with the Lord" and "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." these 2 plagues that have hung in my home for a long time... and are now i see these truths coming to life in this home! It is awesome!!
oh about me....???? this is hard for me. I do feel that I am young at heart and a true optimist! My present priority is being availalbe for my kids... but I am ready to meet someone like-minded for an occasional evening out. A someone who also sees the realness of God in thier life and who aslo is willing give over to God the reigns; gladly and expectantly watching where He leads.
While i wait on Him.... I juggle part-time jobs, mostly working as a substitute teacher here in town. If I am not with the kids... then I am volunteering delivering meals to the elderly; my other love. My elder-friends have been such a blessing to me.... Life is Good!
I love to be near and on the water... esp. my kayak, or biking the canal. I like to hike .. and secretly would love to learn to hang-glide! I also simply love to sit and chat about God and life.
I am out of practice on the dating thing... I fell in to love quickly 27 years ago, married 25 years.... legally, and have been the primary giver in that relationship. I will need patience and encouragment next time around.

I think I have said much before...
I am nothing if not leaning on God for my strength and direction in ALL things.

oh... so many...
"I can do ALL things through Christ who strenthens me."

"Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust.."

Equally yoked... in mind, spirit and deed.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I drive for Meals-on-Wheels.
I do enjoy working in the school system.... and MOST people should to see what educators really must deal with due to our broken society.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I start my day with Joyce Meyer and Creflo Dollar on tv. They have taught me so much about God's word and how to live it. Also Charles STanley on Sunday mornings.... my long time mentor. He is the reason I made a choice in the 80's to make a serious faith committment... and then separation stepped me up to a daily faith walk; to more than i realize I had needed.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
to continue growing and resting in Him.
to someday go on a Christian tour, cruise... and to take part in an oversees mission trip.
