I'm a 29 year old single momma. I work as a full-time accountant for a local government, and part-time as a body piercer in a local tattoo studio. I'm a huge fan of music. It's an enormous part of my life, and actually, lately, I've noticed that it's causing me some difficulty in my Christian walk. I love to play guitar, and prefer to listening to, or playing, rock music. My all-time favorite thing to do is to go to concerts, live shows, big or small, as long as it's a good rock band. I'm big into my 80's 'hair metal', but love most types of rock/metal. I've found a few Christian bands that I like, i.e., Casting Crowns, Skillet, P.O.D., but it is hard to find ones that I really like typically. I'm attracted to fun, energetic, exciting people. I am told that I am a ton of fun, and I'm always up for a new adventure. I enjoy sky-diving, visiting new places, meeting new people, yet I'm also content with calm, leisure time to just sit and "people-watch".
My Ideal Person
I am having the hardest time in finding the person that is right for me. I know I shouldn't be looking, and that God will send him to me when the time is right. I would be ecstatic to find someone that is a Christian, and also has the look of a rocker-type guy, and possibly just a hint of "bad-boy" in him. I know it's not likely to find that, and my experiences in the past have been finding either one extreme or the other. It's never all in one package.
