I'm looking to meet true Christians, both male and female, to develop lasting friendships. I am interested in dating a God-fearing Christian man, but friendship is the ultimate goal with dating just the icing on the cake. I don't want to grow old and gray with someone I'm not really friends with. So friendship comes FIRST. I'm divorced (not by my choice, but his) and am not ready to really jump back into something truly serious right now. I have a few things to work through still. Who knows what the future holds though.
It's really irritating that this site seems more interested in making money off of it's members than it is in seeing them find other people to share their lives with. It's very hard to meet people on here unless you are a PAYING member or spend your life in the chatroom. I'm NOT a paying member, nor do I plan to spend my life in the chatroom. Yes Admins, this note is meant for you. I've been a member here for well over a year and have met no one that can be accredited to this site. I've seen many, mnay profiles that have been abandoned and I'm seriously considering deleting mine. I don't have the money to pay for memberships anywhere. I'm a college student on a very tight budget. That also means that I don't have the time to live in a chatroom. I've met more Christian friends thanks to Facebook than I have BigChurch. I think that's where I'll keep looking for now until this site thinks more of people than money.
My Ideal Person:
I am interested in meeting someone who is truly interested in making Jesus the true LORD in every facet of their life. I am NOT interested in someone who feels the need to be controlling, overly critical or judgmental.
