The Lord is the head of my life above all things. I am a mom and a grandma. I love animals and have 3 dogs, fish, and lizards. I don't watch much TV and if I do, it will be a good movie. I like to listen to the radio (Christian) and I read. I shoot archery, love the water as it has always been calming to me in any form. I am active in my Church and attend every week and also take my grand children home with me so they may attend AWAN's on Wednesday nights. I am a prayer warrior.
My Ideal Person:
I would like to meet someone who puts the Lord first in his life and looks to Him in all things. I love to laugh so would really like that in a friend. I would love to meet someone who is a caring person and thinks of others. I also would love to meet someone who likes to cook a meal now and then...and I don't mean scrambled eggs or hot dogs...lol. I like someone who just likes to be around the special lady in there life and helps out in areas that make a relationship special and sound.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
With out my faith I am nothing, and what I have is very important to me. I love having a realationship with the only true God, who is my Father in Heaven and his son who died on the cross and also was God in the flesh who came off the throan so we could be with him one day, and I love being filled with the Holy Sprit.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
My favorite one's are:
Matthew 7:7 Knock, seek, ask.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that who ever who believed in Him would not perish but have ever lasting life .
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Becouse I don't want to be yoked to someone who does not believe or does not practice there faith and the Bible tells us not to be unyoked, and I know this is an important part of my life that needs to be shared with my friends and also if the Lord placed a male realationship in my life. And in this it will help to make our realationship stronger.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born in Chicago, Illinois. We lived in Chicago and went to the country during the summers until I was going into 7th grade, when we moved to the country. I was there until I graduated from high school. Then went into Hair Designing. I have lived in Colorado and have skied some of the mountains there. Used to live in Georgetown, by the Continental divide. Skied BreckenRidge, and Love Land. Not a great skier but always had a good time. Have seen some of the West Southern states as we traveled to California and also some of the Northern Western states as well. Don't really care for Las Vegas, not my bag. But the country was interesting and really thought the desert area had a beauty of it's own. Done some of the South East states as well. Though Kentucky was interesting but did not get to spend as much time as I would of liked. Been to Florida a couple of times but really don't care for the weather there to live there all the time. Would like to see Oregon some time.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I go to services every week. Hate it if I have to miss. We have Bible study between services and I love going to them. They offer different ones so we can get to pick the one that we are interested in. We have a meal of sharing every month. I am part of that team. I am on the prayer chain through our Church. I also take my grand children home with me during the year when AWAN's is going on and I take them to that. I have been a prayer warrior for our Church on that night and would go be with our Pastor and others to pray for things for the community and other needs. But this past year one of the girls had to leave in the middle and I offered to take over her class with the help of someone else and I found a whole different world. It was great! We have a Turkey supper during the month of Nov that I help with. I have done the same thing every year now for quiet awhile...got it down to a fine science now. I also help with the annual Chicken Barbecue that our town holds. Our Church has a big rummage sale and ministry during this time. I also helped with Katrina. My Church got organized and sent one semi full...but found out really it was 2 semi's full because the stuff that was sent was not done on pallets. I love spending time with my Church family. We have a group that gets together almost every week for lunch. We are all ages, all types. We talk, listen, uplift, pray, cry, laugh, love, encourage each other. We never know who will be there.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I get up early and start my day by giving praise to God my Father.
Get my 16 year old out for school and then go to my daughter's for my grand children. Take the oldest to school and bring her home. While there taking care of the other kids, I cook a meal for there family as well as my own. We found out it's cheaper and we don't have crabby kids that are hungry and fighting for attention when mom and dad come home tired from there day. Then come home to take care of my family and feed them and make sure that my son has his work done for school and if he has his military night I take him there after supper. Or he may want to go out on one of his boat's and go fishing or a walk if the weather permits. Don't really take a whole lot of time for myself to be honest, but I am trying to change that. I used to do archery but that was put on the back burner when I started helping my daughter with the kids. Would really like to start again.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My spiritual goal is to continue to grow in the Lord. To follow where he leads me and to be quiet and listen to His callings. To get out of the boat and walk on the water and knowing that His hand is always in mine and to not take my eyes off of Him. My personal goal is to see my home completed and my son graduate from High School. I think that is plenty for now.
