NC girl born in Texas (Army brat). I need someone very special who could show me "real" love. // Most people say I have a determined (hard-headed) and easy going personality. My philosophy on life is to place God first. I was raised to work and always have. Unfortunately, I cannot change the world today, but I can try to help someone whenever possible. On a date, I tend to enjoy conversation, dining, movies. I would love for someone to teach me to dance. The type of things I do in my spare time are work in the yard with plants and flowers. I enjoy reading a variety of books. I typically practice my faith by what others see in me - walk the walk. Where I live is (very/not very) important. I (am/am not) willing to travel or move for the right person. When I'm at home, I enjoy listening to oldies, R&B, Christian music (a variety except for hard rock or ). The types of movies or TV programs I enjoy are based on true stories such as crimes or events in people's lives. Also enjoy comedies and dramas. My current field is in healthcare transcribing patient records over the Internet for offices in North Carolina. One of the more interesting things I've done in my life is take care of my parents before they passed away.
My Ideal Person
I'm looking for someone who wants to take it slow in developing a relationship. My real reason for being on this site is to seek a loving long-term friendship / marriage. When it comes to physical health, I exercise as often as possible and try to eat a healthy diet. I like my dates to be assertive in decisions. My feelings on children are I have raised two boys and have one grandson. I love family (not just my own). I like my date to be a person with personal qualities such as compassion and . The people I tend to be attracted to are humorous and have similar interests. I know there's chemistry between my date and I if we can look into each other's eyes and see hope in our future. The biggest thing I want to accomplish in the future includes relaxing, just deeply enjoying life.
