I was born in Kansas in 1962. I am the youngest of three . We got along very well as a family. Jokingly we reminded our parents a lot how lucky they were to have good like us. Of course, we had great parents. My parents have passed away in the recent years. I miss them very much. I have moved back to Kansas and enjoying the company of my two cats, Calvin and Joey.
My Ideal Person
Caring, thoughtful, considerate, appreciative. Understands my sense of humor.
Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As a family we didn't go to any church. I wanted to. I went a couple times w/ my little friend down the street. I started to investigate different churches when I was 20 years old. I was baptized at this Church when I was 28. I knew when the missionaries taught me the first lesson that this was the Church that I had been looking for.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Meeting someone at the zoo, movies or a play would be good. Then go out to eat somewhere. Then we would have something in common to talk about until we learned more about each other.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Tennessee and Louisiana. I haven't traveled much. I am going to see the Statue of Liberty some day. I plan on going on a cruise too.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
In our 30+ Singles group at Church some of us get together twice a month. During this time we have a spiritual lesson or video. Then we play a card game.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I enjoy listening to music. I have over 100 CDs. I like most kinds of music. I have seen a couple of plays. I like to watch the "lawyer" tv programs. I enjoy playing cards, board games and going to the movie theatre, dancing and karaoke.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I want to see some famous sites in the United States. My goal in life is to enjoy this life while I can.
