Hi there, and thanks for giving me a once over. I am a happy, outgoing, love-the-Lord, country kinda gal.
I love the peace and quiet that living in the country affords me, but close enough to town that it is convenient to go when I want.
For those of you who have been on the Walk to Emmaus, then I bid you DeColores!
I am currently working on furthering my education to find a much more rewarding career. I am also beginning to work on my weight issues so that I can treat my body as Christ would have me to do.
I will say this tho, just because I am overweight doesn't mean that I don't have a good heart. I have a great deal to offer in a relationship if given the chance.
My Ideal Person
First off, I am not looking for a trophy kind of guy. If you just happen to be very good looking, and have a heart of gold, then you are extremely blessed.
I beleve that a relationship has to have a foundation in Christ first before anything else can be established. I am looking more for a man who is a godly man. Who puts Christ before all else in his life. I know what happens when you don't put Him first above all else. I also know what happens when you are unequally yoked. It just doesn't work....ever...
I want someone who will share their time, beliefs, dreams, aspirations, and family with me. By family I mean, kids, pets, immediate family if you wish to do so.
I

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is extremely important to me. I was raised in a small town Baptist church. I was Baptised very young and would like very much to get re-baptised.
I cannot live without God in my life...period.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
The scriptures in Psalms are probably my favorites.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I know what it is to be in an unequally yoked relationship. Trust me, I do not and will not ever go there again.
A relationship that is not grounded and founded in Christ will not survive in my opinion.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in West Texas, in a small town just N.E. of Lubbock, Texas. We lived on the farm until I was six and then moved into town.
I did not travel much at all until about 10 years ago or so. I am especially drawn to the mountains. Any mountains. I feel God's presence and spirit so fully there.
I have been to Branson, Missouri twice and loved it as well.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
The socials at church are just great. There is always so much good food and fellowship.
Outside church...well I must admit I need to get out more often. Here is what I do that suits me to a T and does not cost very much at all....I go to Tyler to Hastings bookstore and spend all the time I want reading. I usually go have a meal somewhere, but never without a book!!!
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I get up at 5:00a.m....uuuugggghhh..I feed the animals first so they will get out from under my feet. I put on a pot of coffee, wash my hair, pour a cup of coffee and proceed to the bedroom.
Then I put my face on, clothes on and out the door to go to my car pool. There are 4 of us who car pool to Palestine, TX everyday for work.
8-5 M-F, I am at TXU Energy. I come home, feed the children again (pets), feed myself and then see what I am in the mood to do then.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My personal goals you already know about. My spiritual goals are to be a mentor and a disciple for God. I am not into teaching Sunday School, but I have not problem going to bible studies and sharing.
