Working on becoming a woman of strong faith; never want to be without the Lord in my life. // My purpose in life is still in the making - as I continue to seek God's will for it. I try to attend all services where my church meets and I enjoy reading/studying the Bible and other Biblical based books. I also enjoy reading John Grisham, Mary Higgins Clark, Lawrence Saunders, NY Times, Washington Post (when I have time); I don't mind having spare time to myself - although I love my 9-year-old and am involved in all her activities, I don't mind being alone for quiet times. On dates, I enjoy going to the movies and eating out, as well as taking walks in the park or just sitting at Starbucks drinking a caffe latte and talking.! I actually like those silly game rooms (video games, skee ball, etc.) at the beach and malls also. I enjoy Christian gospel (Steve C. Chapman, Amy Grant, Three Doors Down, old Petra, etc.). I also like Led Zeppelin, Jackson Browne, Eagles, Rolling Stones, Etc. and a lot of country music. I listen mostly to 70s, 80s & 90s music. I like movies which are rated PG-13 for the most part (usually pick them by the actors/actresses!), but will watch some R rated movies, such as action flicks (violence - but not a lot of cursing, etc.)

My Ideal Person
I'm looking for a man who has a serious commitment to the Lord, first and foremost. I'm normally attracted to cute, but gentle men with above average integrity (but not perfect, as I'm certainly not!) and who would like my 9-year-old daughter, as she is very precious to me. Since I did not finish college, the man I meet doesn't have to have a degree, but if they do, they are interesting to talk to in different ways (not better, just different), if they don't pretend to "know it all"! A good sense of humor and/or "silliness" is okay too!
