I'm looking for someone who wants to take it farily slow in developing a relationship. Someone who wants me as well as needs me. Someone I can open up to and not be afraid he will be angry. Someone who will encourage me. I am also looking for someone who can accept the love I have waiting.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is there for me when I need it. I am sure, when I feel I don't need it, it is waiting for me. My faith allowed me to say good bye to my parents and brother. I would rather believe in God and not have it true, than not believe and have it true.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Rather than scripture I would say the songs that are the most important and carry me through the rough times are: "His Eye is on the Sparrow" and "He'll Understand and say Well Done"

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I believe in a Christian relationship, I would be treated like a lady, not a one night stand.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born and grew up in Ames, Iowa. At age 16 we moved to the woods north of Bemidji, MN. We were there in the summers. While my folks owned the resort, I joined the Navy. Now, are you sure you want to know where all I have been? I married a sailor, a great man. We lived in Rhode Island (where we got married), Great Lakes, Ill. Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, San Diego Calif, Bremerton, Wash, Charleston SC, Jax, Fla. He retired there and we came back to Iowa. We first lived in Ames, then Havelock, Plover, Jefferson, Greenfield, Des Moines, Omaha, Ne, back to Rhode Island, to Cedar Rapids, Ia.... to Omaha..to KC, Ks, back to Omaha, to Missouri Valley, Ia, and finally to Council Bluffs. 53 houses in 47 years.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
The companionship and the singing.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Get up...turn on computer...read email....edit for my brother....grocery shopping if necessary...check email...edit or create pictures for brother. Play some stupid games....watch TV while falling asleep. Next day...same thing

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
The only goal I have at the present is to get rid of a cough I have had for 4 month. No it is not a smokers cough. I am thinking it is from one of my meds. But do I take a chance and stop it for a week? Hmmm
