My Ideal Person
I've always been told that you should marry "up" in life; however, for that to happen I believe that you have to become "up" for some one else's life. I desire a man that's similar to my father (Heavenly). I really want to marry my father figure in life. I pray that God makes me 2nd best to my future husband's life. By that I mean, after God, I want to be the best for him spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, financially, etc. I realize that my position in his life would be to: help him stay in God's will, assist him in discovering God's purpose for "our" lives, support him in fulfilling his destiny in the world and fortify him the time for God. In a nut shell, I pray for a man "after God's own heart". I think that means a man that's chasing the heart of God or seeking God's will for his life, not a perfect man. I couldn't handle that, simply because I'm not a perfect woman.
