A kind hearted woman looking for someone to spend our senior years together // My faith & my struggle. Being raised a Catholic & divored, makes it hard. I do not regret my decision for leaving. I chose to raise my 2 grandchildren rather than place them in foster care & stay married. I enjoy a wide variety of things to do. I enjoy being on the go & quiet evenings at home for reading & reflection. My oldest granddaughter is 17, works part-time & will be a senior in high school this year. My 10 year old has CP & a brain stem injury. She reads at about a 1st grade level, but does not get the concept of math at all. Because of her cp, writing is difficult. She is moble but not fast enough that I can't catch her.
My Ideal Person
I am looking for someone to spend the senior years & beyond. I believe we were not put on the earth to be alone. Conversation, walks, shared time together. I enjoy watching sports on tv. If you fish, that is great. I am struggling with my faith at this point in my life A& I am looking for someone to help me with that. So many of the teachings I have had no longer apply & I am searching for a church that I can be comfortable with.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is strong. I just have been questioning my church & it's beliefs. God is a forgiving God, but I am divorced & the Catholic church does not forgive that. Spend money to have my marriage dissolved. I know in my heart, I did the right thing & I have never looked back at my decision. I want someone to listen to me ramble & work my way through this rough spot.

A true Christian will accept you as you are, help you down life's road & never forsake you for others.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up near Louisville, KY. I have lived in Arkansas, Miami, St Pete, Houston & a small town near Santa Claus, Indiana. The beach & the mountains are my favorite places to visit.

Fellowship.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Work days, I begin at 5:30 to get ready for work, pack my breakfast & lunch. At about 6:10 am I get my granddaughter up, help her get dressed & we are out the door by 6:30 on a good day to drop her off at daycare & be at work by 7:30. Four days a week, I spend my breaks & 30 minutes of my lunch walking. I work for an insurance company that is attempting to be somewhat paperless. Mail is scanned into a program & I identify it & electronically send it to a workbasket on different people's computers. On a good day there are 7 of us but with illness & vacations, some days there are just 2-3 of us. Get off & pick up by granddaughter around 5:30 pm. Fix dinner, help her with exercises & eating, get her ready for bed around 8 or so & then I finall get to sit down, enjoy a glass of iced tea & usually work on the computer & do small things around this place until bedtime & read untl falling asleep
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Buying a home, finding peace of mind with my faith. I know I was raised a Catholic, but it doesn't seem to apply to me anymore & I will always have Jesus in my heart, I just want to be around others that do the same.
