"Be who you are and say how you feel for those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." That's what Dr. Seuss says and that's how I live my life for the Lord- I do all for HIM and don't worry about what others think. I have a good sense of humor and I can always find the fun in life. I'm creative and personable, though shy at first. I would love to hear from you to find out if you could be a match for me. I've given this whole 'marriage thing' to the Lord and His plans will work out in the end.
My Ideal Person
In short, I'm looking for a man who lives and loves for God. I want someone with a strong prayer life, a good sense of fun/ humor, and who can be a strong husband and father if things work out to that end. Those who can't match socks to each other or figure out which door to the car leads to the drivers seat need not apply.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is my life. Jesus died for me, so I live for Him. I was saved at age 16 and before that was a staunch Athiest. I attend services at my church in Sunday mornings and evenings and try to get to the mid-week service when I can.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
All scripture is God-breathed, so all of the verses are important to me.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
God has commanded that we not be unequally yoked, so I'm making sure to follow that by only allowing myself to date people who are serious Christians. Besides, I am very committed to my faith and I don't see that we'd have much in common if we had different faiths or different strenghts of faiths.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
Who said I grew up? LOL But, yes, I did put childish ways behind me. I grew up in a little town near Albany, NY and I've traveled a bit. My biggest trip was a missions trip to Maui and I've taken trips to Texas, Virginia, Massachussetts, Connecticut, All over NY, Vermont, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, DC, and other places in the mid-adlantic region as I've grown up. Virginia is one of my favorite places to visit because they have such wonderful southern hospitality.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love worshipping the Lord with contemporary music. I also love swimming and tennis. On a weekend, I greatly enjoying going hiking, camping, and horseback riding when I can. Other times I enjoy playing board games or visiting educational places like the zoo, a historical site, or the Franklin Institute. Of course, any theme park- water or roller coasters- is a great place for me.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
That depends on whether it's during the school year or during the summer. During the school year I'm up and at 'em early and off to work. I work and play hard with my kindergarteners then I return home ready to drop. Instead of dropping, though, I make dinner with my roommate and eat. Then we do our exercising, either at the pool or taking a walk. When we return home we put on Christian music and prepare for the next day's lessons. When school isn't in session, I do what I want with my days and our nightly routine stays the same.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I'd like to go back to school for my early childhood certification and am planning on beginning that in the fall of 2006. I'd also like to find the guts to meet someone out there who will become my husband so we can start our own little God-fearing family.
Spiritually, I want to finish reading the Bible. I started reading it word for word a few months ago but I'm not done yet. I always look toward deepening my relationship with Christ.
