Hi, I am a 52 year old Christian woman who would like to meet a man between the age of 40 through 55 for dating and possible marriage. Some of the careers I've had while raising three on my own after my divorce, are Secretary, U.S. Army Chaplain Assistant, Probation Aide, Assistant Jury Manager, Special Investigator, and my present career as a College Admissions Representative. I was raised a Catholic, but didn't meet Jesus until my senior year in high school. When I didn't get grounded in a good bible-believing church, I fell away from church attendance, and got into sin. Our faithful Saviour, however, always held me in His hand, and around the fall of 1996 I rededicated my life to Him. Jesus means everything to me....my life centers around Him, and He orders my steps. I'm between 5'6.5 and 5'7 inches tall, with medium length brown hair. People usually mistake me for about 8- 10 years younger than my age, and I'm not just saying that. I did not like that when I was in my teens, but it serves me well now. I'm a no-nonsense person, and I've had to be that way to be able to raise three on my own, but I do like to have fun by going out to eat dinner, travelling and shopping. I also enjoy singing and have been a member of the church choir and praise and worship team, and I have performed solos. It may sound boring to some, but there's nothing I like better than puttering around the house in the morning, talking with, and praising my Lord, Jesus, maybe baking something in the oven and pouring over cookbooks to see what I can cook that day, tidying up the house, etc. You know, that kind of thing.....My Lord! I'd love to be a housewife now... I've had my careers out of necessity and choice. I've enjoyed some of my careers, but my heart's desire is to be a homemaker. Taking care of a husband and family is a noble and rewarding profession after all! The devil is the one who has given homemaking such a bad . In one sentence, I am a nice-looking, honest 50ish Christian woman who enjoys family-life, pleasant surroundings, and would like to have a good man around me who enjoys the same.
My Ideal Person
I am looking for a partner who, first of all, truly adores the Lord Jesus Christ, in a personal way. Church attendance is important, but it's not how many times a week one attends church, but whether or not a person lives those principles. Basically, no hypocrites need apply. Yes, I've been burned by some people in churches, but I'm not bitter. I would like a man who is taller than me but not too tall. Sorry for not being
specific. The following character traits are necessary, and as we both know, if you are a true Christian, you will already possess these traits. They are also the traits that the United States Army expects of soldiers, having been a soldier myself. They are integrity, loyalty, courage, a sense of humor, and I know there's more. And yes, I do want a man who is reasonably good looking, although, character is more important than looks. Hair color, eye color, and race do not matter. I prefer that you are reasonably physically fit but I don't expect Mr. Universe. I believe anyone who is trying to do God's will, is someone who wants to take care of their whole person.... body, mind, soul, and spirit, which brings honor to God. Bottom line is....you don't have to be perfect, which I certainly am not.....but you have to be for real! Hey, if you're a man who loves the Lord, wants to enjoy life, and run the race that God has set before him, then, maybe we could be right for each other.
