Thanks for looking at my profile. I'm currently employed working at a large Bank in Michigan. I manage a staff of 40 people which is often challenging. I love being involved with my family and friends. I have a beautiful home I take care of myself inside and out. I love working outside, cutting the grass, working in my garden and weeding - good therapy!
I love entertaining family and friends. I love having friends over for a meal and play games, or watch a good movie. I love to cook and bake - it's my passion. I'm always cooking or baking something for somebody. Everyone calls me Martha (which is an honor) Love that woman!
I have one who will be 32 in September. He has been married for 6 years to a beautiful girl and they just had twins in March 2006; a boy and a girl. They live about a mile from me so I do see them either at church or weekends if I'm called to babysit. I'm a good mother-in-law, I don't get involved with their affairs and I stay my distance. I have a great relationship with my and -in-law and now the twins.
What a great package I'll have for the special someone that will be in my life again.
I love to go out with my friends and have fun. Almost all my friends are married so I'm always the single one in the group. It doesn't bother me or my friends, we get along great. One of my friends lives on a private lake and we will go out on thier boat and fish or just relax. It's a great feeling to have that tug on the line only to see you have a small bass on the line. We usually throw them back in the water and try again. It's cute to see my friends grandren fish and get excited when we pull the net out of the water to see how big the fish is. Little things like that make me happy.
I'm not a high maintenance girl. What I mean by that is I don't need a lot of things this stage in my life. I have what I want and buy what I want and need. I love looking nice, keeping up appearances if guess you would say.
I'm very content with my life. I was divorced when my was 9 years old and prayed that it would work out, however, it didn't. I chose not to say anything negative about my exhusband to my . I saw too many broken homes with s that suffered and I didn't want that to happen to my . My exhusband and I remained friends even when he brought over different girlfriends when he picked Mark up for the weekend. He has since remarried and we remain friends to this day. I felt I made a good choice for my 's sake and for mine as well.
Well, that's a little peek of who I am. If you're the kinda girl you're looking for, then give me a little wink or send me an email.
My Ideal Person
I'm looking for a nice guy who is honest, and has a sense of humor. I'm looking for a person who likes to stay home and entertain. The person I'm looking for loves to go out with friends and have friends over for dinner and chat with a log in the fireplace.
The person I'm looking for may love the outdoors, fishing, hunting, gardening, putting in the backyard, etc. (I don't hunt, but I grew up with a dad and brother that did and most of my friends husbands hunt and fish, so I'm used to that)
I like staying at home too and having a quiet night relaxing. Maybe a nice dinner and relaxing night watching a good movie or talking about your day. Seems like a lot of people don't sit around the dinner table anymore to talk after dinner. I like that myself.
I like a great smile and someone who is happy and content with their life. It may not be the life you wanted, but you're content with what you have and earned.
I don't like someone who is depressed and feels sorry for themself. (I know this can happen sometimes, we're human) but I don't want a special someone that is always down in the dumps!
