My Ideal Person
I would love to have a country man, who believes in hard work and putting God first, then family. A family oriented man who loves children and can control his temper. A hunter/fisher would be a bonus, as I love to fish and make jerky, and would love to welcome him home after trips away. I am independent enough to keep the home fires burning if you are away. A handyman who likes to have a playful/intelligent partner to help with those projects around the house. A man not afraid to get dirty, but knows how to get clean too. I hope for a passionate man who would love to dance under the stars to slow country songs, but likes good rock and roll too.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
It is always on my mind. I try to live according to what God asks of us in the Bible. I know his rewards are far greater than any I may hastily try to get for myself. I am far from perfect, but the Holy Spirit truly guides my path.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
John 13:16, I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Matthew 6:25-34 reminds me not to worry about what God will provide for me. The Song of Solomon reminds me that God knows we are passionate, and he has those treasures for us when we obey Him. I recently started reading 'the Bible in one year'.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Because it is so easy to slip and fall away from the church. I want a Godly man who will grow in faith with me, attend church with our family and help me to be strong in Christ. It is so important because I want to honor my father, I know he has the best in mind for me.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born and raised on Long Island. Lived in Florida also. Spent a year in England as a nanny to a handicapped girl. Went to Juneau, Alaska for a job interview. One of my favorite places to visit is my Mom's time share on Vanderbilt beach in Naples, Florida. I loved the Florida Keys also, but haven't been in so long it's probably not the same. I loved Sedona, Arizona. I love to get away from it all and sit out in the beauty that God created for us, just sit and take in the wonder of it all.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love to encourage others to open up and share in our small group at church. To share that we are all flawed,and struggle, and feel lonely sometimes, that God put us here to fellowship with each other. Outside of church I like to putter around the yard and watch the children play. I love to barbecue and have a bonfire in the backyard. I love to open our home and yard to other Christians.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Wake around 7, get the kids breakfast and ready, take the twins to daycare and take my 7 year old to day camp or to work with me. Clean the offices I do on M< W< F and then clean a house or two. Pick up the twins from daycare, head home and let them play in the yard while I do some chores and get dinner ready. Have a bonfire if it's not windy. I love collecting the eggs from our chickens, it is a constant reminder of how God provides for us. Put the kids in the bath around 7 and get them into bed for stories. If I have enough energy left I pick up the house and check email before I go to bed.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My personal goal is to raise my children to know and love Christ as their savior. Spiritually I want to know God as well as I can, and to feel close to him as much of the time as I can. To walk in obedience to what he has written for us.
