Trying to become closer to our Lord and would love to receive some help! // Hello everyone, My name is Melody. I am a 23 year old college student who has finally decided to take the steps necessary to establish a special relationship with God. I have always been a very spiritual person, but I don't know much about church, the bible, etc. To be honest, that didn't matter much to me in the past few years. I was all about having a good time and enjoying my life. Now, I feel pretty embarrassed to admit that I don't know about my Lord. All I know is that I believe in him with all of my heart and soul and I have now learned that the best way to enjoy your life is by letting the Lord be a part of it. I have always had faith, and I'm proud to say that it has gotten me through some rough times. Right now, I am in Nursing School with goals of becoming a Nurse Practitioner. I am an honest, caring, and loving girl. The most important things in my life right now are, my spirituality, my family, and my career goals. Now, for those of you that are wondering what I look like I am going to be completely honest. I am 5'4", have brown eyes, black hair, and am a bit overweight. Now I am not going to make excuses for that because its been completely my fault. (I can explain it in more detail if you'd like to know). But thankfully along with me finding my spirituality and love of God, I have also learned to love myself and take care of myself. I have lost 20 pounds! Yeah! Which to me is a great accomplishment! It took a lot to come out and say that. I have always been very self-conscious about my self but I accept myself the way that I am and I hope that you can too. My Ideal Person
I am not a picky girl. I would just love to find someone who is willing to teach me about our Lord, and grow with me spiritually. As long as you are honest and treat me and my loved ones with respect, just as I will you and your loved ones, everything will be great. I would love to find a guy that can make me laugh, and will accept me for who I am and not try to change me into something I'm not. I am very straight-forward and do not like to play games and I would like it if I could meet guys that are that way also. I'm not all about looks. I believe in giving everyone a fair chance, because how you will ever find out if that person is or isn't for you.
