Hi! I am interested in meeting new people to expand my faith and my social life // I feel very committed to helping others and spend a great deal of my time helping people. I work as an addictions counselor and I absolutely love my job! I feel I am serving God and my job allows me to witness to hurting people in a very personal way. In my free time I am often spending time with friends and family. I also have a that I am crazy about. I don't really have any specific hobbies but I have a variety of interests and love trying new things. I have been doing a lot of soul searching lately. I am recently single and have found myself with a lot of free time to fill. I feel like I am rediscovering myself and it is an exciting process.

My Ideal Person
I am interested in meeting someone who has a love for God and other people. Someone who thirsts for the Word and shares the love of God through their actions. I also love to talk, so someone who can communicate their thoughts and feelings would be a huge plus. I don't currently have any children but I love kids and am considering becoming a foster parent. God hasn't blessed me with children and realistically since I am 40 He may not. A man who has children is defenitley OK with me. I feel optistimic that God will bring the exact right person into my life and its my job to be patient and wait. If you may be that person, hurry, patience is not easy for me but I am trying.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I believe God directs my life. Throughout my life I can see how He has led me, even when I wasn't dedicated to Him. I have a servants heart and try to make all decisions based on prayer and what I feel God is directing.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I like so many. The 23rd Psalm. I also get comfort from Psalm 33:18

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I feel that when I am right with God my life is good even when things aren't necessarily the way I think they should be.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I have lived in Indianapolis most of my life. I have traveled to several states but I would love to travel more.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I don't really do much with my church. It is pretty far away and I work late, so I can't participate in most activities.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I mostly go to work and stay home. I have several friends that I talk to or see everyday.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I have been thinking a lot about this lately. I want to deepen my relationship with God and spend more time in prayer and in the Word. Personal goal, I want a family, either biologically or through foster care. I want to continue with school and get my Masters degree.
