My Ideal Person:
Although I am independent, I would very much like to find someone to share my life with. It would be very nice to have someone to take care of me some of the time so I don't have to do it all alone. Coming home to just the pets sometimes just isn't enough. My perfect partner would be kind, honest, romantic, affectionate, physically fit, optimistic, have a good sense of humor, high integrity and be an excellent listener and communicator. He world know instinctively how to make me feel good using the simple things of life and would be able to appreciate my similar gestures. He would share my love of nature and the outdoors and at least appreciate my art (even if he isn't capable in creating it with me). He would be young of heart and passionate about making the most out of life. He would definitely view the glass as half full!

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I am Episcopalian by birth and although I tried other churches over the years, I am truly at home here. I attend church regularly and am active in our outreach group. Faith is very important to me. God has been by my side guiding me through many difficult times and I feel secure knowing he is always here for me.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I want to be able to share my beliefs and worship God together.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born in England, lived in France for 2 years when my father was stationed there and moved to Maryland when I was 12. I lived there most of my life and then moved to Arizona almost 2 years ago. I have traveled through a good bit of Europe when I was young and quite extensively in the US. I always loved the wide open spaces of the West, which is why I moved out here. I have been to the Caribbean a few times and love the beautiful water and sands there. I finally got to Hawaii last year and it was wonderful too. Arizona has some awesome places to visit, some of which I have seen, but many I have yet to explore.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
At church I enjoy the social activities that my church offers and I'm also active in our Outreach program. At home I enjoy gardening, oil painting, drawing, pottery, photography, jewelry design and many other forms arts and crafts. I enjoy outdoor activities such as swimming, boating, hiking, jogging and I love to go camping. I work out regularly at my gym and I enjoy spending time with my cat, Milo.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I'm self-employed as an artist and I work part-time in the office of a Christian School. My mornings are free so I do my art and crafts then, go to the gym and get things done around the house. I work at the school in the afternoons but then get off early enough to do more of my art. Once or twice a week I take pottery classes. In the evening I like to spend time with my friends. If I'm not visiting with them we often talk on the phone. Later in the evening I catch up with my favorite TV shows which my Tivo DVR has recorded or I play arcade games on Xbox. (I'm told I don't fit the profile of an Xbox gamer so don't judge me by that. I just find it relaxing and fun.)

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
When I moved to Arizona and started my new life here I had 3 main goals. I wanted to be self-employed as an artist, I wanted to do charity work with my church and I wanted to slow down and enjoy the God given beauty that surrounds us. I'm still working on slowing down but I do enjoy the beauty anyway and I am achieving the other two goals. I love my church and the people I met there and I look forward to continuing to strengthen my faith and spiritual life there.
