I place value on family and relationships. I am intelligent, honest, loyal, and sincere. What you see is what you get. I am funny (so i have been told). I am a good listener and articulate. I am a romantic to the core and enjoy lavishing affection on that special someone. I love walking the beach; especially hand in hand with someone I enjoy. Nothing better than catching a beautiful sunset. The beach is my place of reflection, tranquility and rejuvenation. I also enjoy the outdoors, camping, reading, catching a movie and popcorn (what good is a movie without popcorn?), people watching, spending time with friends and family, not to mention my new first born grandson, and volunteering with the needy in my community. My life is complete with the exception of having someone to love, encourage, make them feel special and just simply enjoying each other. Someone who is your best friend and in your corner . Honesty and communication are very important in any relationship I invest myself in.
My Ideal Person
My ideal match would be a man who knows himself and is secure with who he is. Who has a nurturing nature and is romantic. Enjoys receiving and giving public displays of affection. I am looking for a man who loves to hold hands, be touched, pampered (massage, etc) The type who would send flowers for no reason, leave a note on the windshield, etc. and would not be embarrassed if I did the same for him. Would consider his mate as his best friend. In addition; loyal, honest, sincere, respectful, committed, and able to communicate easily about his feelings: a good talker as well as listener. Chivalry is still appreciated by me. I don't mind if you open the car door for me, pull out my chair, etc. However, I am independent. I am a Christian and my faith and walk with Christ is very important to me.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I am a non-denominational Christian, however, I was raised Baptist. My faith is of the utmost importance to me. It is what gets me through life.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord; plans to prosper you, not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
The Bible warns against being unequally yoked. If a Christian mates with a non-believer...they are in for trouble. If the couple are both Christians their faith will lead and guide them in wisdom and decision making. Shared values are important to a successful relationship.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born in Charleston, SC and have lived in Columbia, SC most of my life. A true southern belle. I have traveled a good bit of the US; also Hawaii and Bermuda. I love to visit the zoo and the beach and parks, etc.
