I am a 23-year-old woman who loves God, her family, her friends, and herself. I am one of the most loyal, honest, caring, trustworthy people you could ever find. I try to be this way because I am always praying for someone to be just as loyal, honest, caring, and trustworthy towards me. I am cautious and I tread carefully with people I meet, but when I trust them and love them, I love hard. I love my friends and my family in a way that leaves a mark and breaks my heart when I have to let some of them go.
I may be caring and loving and trustworthy, but I am not the type to be taken advantage of. I am very intelligent, quite a dreamer, and extremely strong-willed. I believe that the harder life is, the more of a sense of humor you have to have for survival. Given my life, I have quite a sense of humor.
I'm tomboyish but I have girly girl ways. Growing up around boys, I find humor in some not-so-ladylike things. I am athletic and love playing softball/baseball and football. I genuinely like to watch sports, especially college football, and it's not just a ploy to get guys. On the other hand, I like to wear skirts and cute, dressy clothes, and while I haven't mastered the art of makeup and I have been told that I look great without it, I do like perfumes and lotions and that sorta thing.
I'm not the most patient person in the world, but I am understanding. I am pretty low-maintenance and low-key as well. My tomboyish side loves to run barefoot or in flip flops, and I am the kind of girl who loves to play in the rain, no matter the occasion. I love the ocean. I could sit on the beach and watch the waves wash ashore for hours. I love water, from drinking it to dipping my toes into it, to letting my body sink into it and be surrounded by it. I am a hopeless romantic and dream of finding my soulmate.
I am a writer, a dreamer, a singer, and a pretty good dancer. I love to travel and wish I could do it more often. I despise routine and hate feeling imprisoned by the cubicle walls of my now "Office Space" life and by family members who don't seem to believe that I am fairly capable of being on my own.
Though I am a self-professed hopeless romantic, I am afraid of love. I am afraid of being vulnerable. I am afraid of committment. This all stems from being raised in an angry, violent, dysfunctional family, and never truly seeing what true romantic love could possibly be. I don't trust people very easily, and I have quite a difficult time opening up to them or any possibilities with them.
This is me. Take it or leave it. I am only concerned with being the person I want to be and who God wants me to be. I am strong, intelligent, caring, and beautiful; whether you believe it or not is up to you.
My Ideal Person
Someone who is very strong in their faith yet not holier-than-thou or uptight. Someone who loves to travel, loves adventure. Someone who is funny, sweet, caring, affectionate (but not smothering), trustworthy, honest, dependable, caring. Someone who loves music and sports and someone who isn't jealous or possessive and doesn't mind that I am independent and need to be on my own sometimes. Someone who is ready to love me, putting me second to Christ. I am the type of person who, when I love someone, I love them with all I have. I want the same from someone else.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is very important to me. I grew up in a Christian home where prayer was important as well as reading my Bible and attending church regularly. I accepted Christ and was baptized when I was 11 years old. I have struggled with my beliefs and faith on various occasions, but I trust God to lead me in the direction I am supposed to go. As I delve deeper into my Scripture readings and prayer, I am finding a unwavering faith and belief that God provides when we are faithful and that He loves me the way I want and need to be loved, a way that hasn't really ever come to me by anyone in my life.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
The ones dealing with anxiety and how I have nothing to worry about in Christ. I can do all things through Him and He will take care of my every need, even the ones I don't even realize I have.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Because like the verse in Ecclesiates says, "A cord of three strands cannot be broken." A relationship built around Christ will be a healthy and functional one because Christ is love. If we have Christ in the middle and first in our individual lives, we can do and accomplish anything.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Montgomery, Alabama. I have traveled all over the southeast from Dallas and Houston, Texas, to New Orleans, Louisiana, to Miami, Florida, to Wilmington, North Carolina, and Nashville, Tennessee. I have also been to the Grand Bahama Island twice.
My favorite places to visit are Pensacola/Destin/Navarre/Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, and Wilmington, North Carolina.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
During the week, I get up around 8 a.m. then work from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. I come home around 6 p.m., eat dinner, then get online, exercise, take a shower, then go to bed between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m.
On the weekends, I either go to my dad's or mom's or I visit my best friend in Florida.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I want to be as strong as I can be in my walk with Christ and be everything He wants me to be. I want to be in great physical shape and as healthy as I can be. I also want to marry once to a wonderful, loving, Christian man whom I can raise a functional, loving family with and spend the rest of my life with. I want to write a few novels, record an album of my original songs, and travel the world.
