My Ideal Person
A man who loves God and the people in his world..who wants to know and be known in some depth. I want someone in touch with his feelings and who knows who he is and what he wants in this life..I like someone who is affectionate, accepting, does his best but is not perfect and does not expect perfection in others..accepting of them as they are. I like someone who enjoys little things, like babies, sunsets, watching the water lap at the shore, the wind blowing the trees, etc. Money is a means to take care of himself but not a driving force. Quality of life is more important than having things. I like a man who shares and listens and enjoys life and the people in it.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Christ is my savior and I am growing closer and closer to him as he shows me how to be okay as a single person..I talk to him all day long and love to praise him in song and with my brothers and sisters in the Lord.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everylasting life..and For I know the Plans I have for you, saith the Lord, plans to give you a future, to bless you and not to harm you.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I talk to my Lord all day long and want a mate that does likewise and would be comfortable sharing prayer and his growth with our Lord...as well as intent on helping me grow and having my support in his spiritual journey.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Michigan...live in Texas now. Like to visit Historical homes and to drive through hilly country.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love to sing at church and at Equally Yoked Karoke nights. I love singles studies of the Bible and other relational books.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I am a 1st grade teacher of ESL students...I love to read to them and to study vocabulary meanings to make reading mean more. I like to sing, read and journal.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I want to be a therapist working with abuse victims of all sorts.
