47 year old Woman in Cary, North Carolina, United States Looking For: Men

Profile for LivingLifeNGrace
I am a very honest, trustworthy, and all-around a happy, cheerful and sweet woman. In my spare time I enjoy writing poetry, writing 's stories, going to art museums, going to see plays and musicals, going to see local bands, going to rock concerts, going to movies, reading biographies and fiction books, and just love to hang-out w/friends and my cocker spaniel Lacey. I am also very independent, liberal, open-minded and love meeting all types of people and talking their ear off! I'm the type of person who would love to travel on vacation and see all of the world's most magnificent sites. I always keep a smile on my face even in the most difficult situations.

My Ideal Person
I'm looking for someone who takes God seriously. I've been looking for a Christian guy who loves God more than they would love me. Needs a man who is honest and faithful in a relationship and someone I can trust with all of my heart. Needs a Man who is fairly liberal and appreciates art and culture. Needs a Man who does not have kids and does not want any. Needs a man that loves spending time with only me and can love and accept me for who I am.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is always devoted to God and I love sharing my faith w/my friends because I want them to be w/me in Heaven. I believe that God is the only reason I'm alive today-I went through a lot of tough times on my daily travel w/God in the past. But, He Always was there for me and got me through these times. It is very important to me(my faith) because God never leaves us and He is Always forgiving. I love God w/all my heart, soul and mind. He's the reason for the Christmas Season because He sent His Son(Jesus) to die on the cross to save us from our sins and that is the reason I became a Christian in the first place because He did this all for me and the whole world!

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Of course John 3:16 because it explains the most important truth in the Bible and just is soooooo self-explanatory. It is a verse that everyone can understand which is very awesome! And, my favorite chapter in the Bible is: Psalm 119 because it IS The WORD OF GOD and just tells a person how they should go about living their life even when this world is full of so much chaos and crime. It explains everything! Please read it, and I think you will "get" what I'm talking about. It's the coolest book and chapter in the Bible!

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
A Christian relationship is soooooo important to me because we share the same beliefs, morals, and values. I truly believe that if you are a Christian you should marry a Christian because then you can go to church every Sunday and be devoted to it. I would like to meet a Christian who is involved in the church activities of the church they have joined. I prefer a Christian who is either: Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian or goes to a non-denominational Christian church because these are the denominations I grew up with and are involved with. I prefer "traditional" worship services because I was raised this way. Whomever I end up marrying I would like us both to compromise on which church (his or mine) that we will be attending. Christian relationships usually end up being saved from "separations" or "divorce". That's why it is definately important to me to be in a healthy, devoted to God Christian relationship. It is the only relationship that will survive if the man I meet is as inspired by God as I am!

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in a little county called Person County. I lived in Timberlake way out in the country (my dad was a tobacco farmer). The closest town was Roxboro, NC which you may or may not have heard of since the population is soooo small. I've never ever traveled outside of the U.S. but would definately love to someday. I've been to Atlanta, L.A. San Francisco, Pennsylvania, Las Vegas, Virginia, South Carolina, New York City and lots of other cities and states but I usually just remain in Cary/Raleigh N.C. where I want to remain indefinately. My favorite places to visit are L.A. and New York City because I love going to see Broadway Musicals and I love shopping in L.A. at all the vintage stores, thrift shops and consignment shops. I also love L.a. because Venice Beach is nearby and they have lots of shops along the beach and entertainers. It's the coolest!

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
My favorite activties at church are hanging-out w/the singles group doing various things like going to the movies, having potluck dinners, and just any activity that the church has. I have to let you know though that I attend several different churches singles activities because I have visited these particular churches in the past and liked the singles there but didn't necessarly like the church. I now attend a Presbyterian church right next door to me that has "traditional" worship services and also singles activities. I also love hanging-out w/my friends and going to coffee shops and chatting w/them for several hours. I absolutely love talking!

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
First I get out of bed around 7 or 7:30 am in the morning to take out my cocker spaniel Lacey to the bathroom then I sleep-in until about 8:30-9:30 A.M. I walk my dog when I get up and tune into the news on t.v. to see what the weather will be like for the day and the week. Then I eat lunch and surf the internet. I love searching for things on the internet-subjects that you can learn about new and interesting things. I also love looking on EBay because I collect the vintage metal lunchboxes and I want to start collecting vintage Fisher-Price toys! I bury my head in a good book, walk my dog twice a day for 30 minutes each time. I start getting ready for bed around 10 or 10:30pm since my puppy gets me up soooooo early in the morning. And, do the same thing over again the next day. My days are like the movie-"Groundhog Day"!

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My personal goal is to get my children's story published someday. Another one is to get my poetry published into a book-not just magazine articles. My goal also is to publish an autobiography someday when I'm a lot older! I also want to strive to be the best person I can be and always treat everyone w/respect which every person in this world deserves. My spriitual goal is to become closer to God each and every single day. I would like to be more conformed to Jesus' image and always do, say, and thinks things that are pleasing to Him. My spiritual goal is NEVER to disappoint my God who is my Father and Saviour. I only want to live for Him-ALWAYS & FOREVER!!!!!!!!
