I am a 51 year old nurse, mother, and grandmother who would like to be a significant other or wife to a man again. I have been divorced 28 years and I am ready to jump into the water again! I have had serious relationships, but haven't found the one I want to spend the rest of my days with. I am loving, kind, gentle, honest, loyal, funny, indepedent, and very intelligent. I can be at home in jeans or a little black dress and pearls. I like Classical music to Bluegrass music. I love nature and the outdoors, and I feel very much a part of it. I love animals, especially dogs and horses. I have a dog, a mini schnauzer, named Woolf. I have two lovely grandchildren I adore. I take care of the elderly, so I see what the future holds for all of us who live long enough every day. I don't want to grow old alone, and I want to enjoy all the youth I have left every day. Live each day like it could be your last.
My Ideal Person
Someone who has the same qualities I described above, and someone who isn't afraid to commit if we have the chemistry, trust, and love to build a relationship. My man must be thoughtful, kind, gentle, gracious, very smart, educated (not necessarily a college degree, but well read), and must be tolerant and open minded. I do not like prejudice. I am also looking for someone who knows who he is. I am looking for someone who isn't afraid of feelings and saying what he thinks and feels. Must be a dog lover as well. Must love the beauty of nature and like to spend time outdoors. I am politically liberal and would like to find someone who is likeminded. I like men who are curious and like to keep on learning new things their whole life because that is how I am. Whoever shares my life must be developing his spirituality daily through whatever means he choses, whether it be meditation, prayer, or church attendance. It would be nice to meet another Episcopalian or Anglican, but any mainstream religion would be all right. It will take a secure man who knows who he is and what he wants to be in relationship with me. Being passionate is always good in my opinion.
