Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I believe God exists and that Jesus is His Son. I believe in the principles as set forth in the Bible. It doesn't make sense not to believe or appreciate those things and to live your life in concert with that understanding. Currently I have been struggling with the reallization of God's love in my life on a personal level. I have not used that as license to change my veiws of His existence or the validity of living by the principles. I really don't know how to describe what is happening other than that it is disappointing to me and I'm not sure how to proceed.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
A sincere Christian relationship is important if the other person appreciates the validity of the true principles of the Word. I don't want to be part of a superficial, 'costumed Christian' relationship. I already endured 10 years of a marriage with a person who 'advertised' that he was a 'Christian' when the reality of his ways were anything but true to the Word. He preferred to pursue sexual sins of all manner, treated making an honest living more like an allergy than an honorable pursuit while at the same time expecting everyone else to support him, and besides being abusive to his spouse he sank to the depths of being purposefully abusive to his young children. Not a pretty picture, but it was the reality of the situation. This information may seem negative, but trust me it was a negative situation to live through. What I want to be understood from this though is that I do not want to ever live through that again nor subject my children to the same. The hint of plastic Christianity is appalling to me. I want the real, the practical (no hype) because to accept anything less is only to cheat all involved.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Canada in a largely middle class city. It was a decent place with some really good community resources that enhanced my childhood. I have travelled all across Canada with the exception of the Yukon and the Northwest Territories. I have had extensive travel in the Eastern part of the US, some California and Hawaii visits, and a trip to Grenada. I absolutely fell in love with Grenada, and the people I met there. I feel a special compassion towards the poor there. I had the privilege of visiting a home for elderly run by Sisters in Mother Theresa's order, and though I am not Roman Catholic, I really admired their mission. The mountains of Western Canada are absolutely majestic. The lake districts of Ontario are quaint, relaxing and yet vibrant. The Blue Ridge Mountains are beautiful without being daunting. Tarpon Springs, Florida and Quebec City conjure up visions of what Europe must be like in places. Southern Ontario, Michigan, and western New York State grows some of the most scrumptious produce in North America!

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I like sharing communal meals with others, you know like picnics. I like going to the beach to soak up the sun, look for the dolphins, close my eyes and listen to the surf.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Days in our home are anything but routine. My schedule is subject to the timing of the shows that I work on, but that's okay because flexibility is not all bad in this day and age.
