My Ideal Person
I am looking for someone that I can share all aspects of my life with, especially my walk with God. A love for children is also a must since I have 2, we are a package deal! I want someone who will be open, and honest with me about everything. Good communication is the key to a good relationship..I have learned that the hard way. Similar interests, and similar morals are also important. Some differences are ok. I am not looking for perfection, just the perfect one for me.

What are your favorite musicians or bands?: Newsboys, Toby Mac, Zoe Girl, Sonic Flood, Mercy Me, Third Day, Virtue, and the list goes on!

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is the most important thing in my life. God is the only reason that I have made it past the rough spots in my life. If I didn't have Him in my life, I hate to think about where I would be or if I would even have lived this long. OI love Him more then anything, and am always striving for a closer walk with Him!

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
My verse for this year is Isaiah 43:1, "But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And HE who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are mine." Just to know that that I am God's, He formed me, He redeemed me, and He has called me, gives me great comfort. No matter what I am going through, I can look at this verse and know that I will be ok. God has promised me that He will take care of me because I am His. This whole chapter is full of beautiful promises!

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I want to be able to share every aspect of my life with the person that God has for me, my soulmate. If someone does not have a relationship with God, then they cannot understand the most important area of my life, and that is not something that I will compromise on. They must know God, or there cannot be that complete and total sharing experience.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up here in Indianapolis. I have lived most of my life here except for a year and a half in Michigan. I have traveled to several States as a kid on family vacations. My grandparents were in Michigan and West Virginia, we visited them a lot. I have not made it out of the country except to Canada. I have not made it to the East coast or out West, I plan too someday. I also plan to travel out of the country and am hoping to go on a missions trip sometime next year.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I sing in the choir at church. It is very contemporary and cool. They write a lot of their own music and have recorded 4 cds. I also am involved in the Singles group at our church and was on the leadership team for almost 2 years. I am getting ready to lead a small group. It will be a prayer group called Contending for the Nations. Outside of church I love to camp, and be outdoors, swimming, and hiking. I also love movies, and hanging out with the kids. Contemporary Christian Music Concerts are another favorite.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
My days are busy. I get the kids up for school, get them ready, and out the door. I get myself breakfast, and work from home making sales calls to small businesses. The kids come home at 4. We do homework, have dinner, watch a movie sometimes, do devotions, then get them to bed. I usually check my email, then I have my devotional and prayer time and go to bed.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My spiritual goal is just to draw as close to God as I can and help others draw closer too. I am trying to work on increasing my devotional and prayer time. God laid praying for the Nations on my heart during a series called 40 Days of Prayer at our church. I will be praying a lot as I get ready to lead the prayer group on this topic. One of my personal goals is to be the best Mom that I can and lead my kids toward God. I also want to be the best friend to my friends, encouraging them along the way, especialy in their walk with God.
